Why change the hadith? Admit it. The exact words were that Moses slapped the angel of death. Don't change it. Justify it for what it is.

I don't give a crap about whether Shi'as split or not. We must ban the evil hadith that says Moses slapped the angel of death causing him to say "you sent me to a servant who doesn't wanna die".

It is an obligation upon us to follow the Sunnah:

"And obey Allah and the Messenger, that ye may obtain mercy." (Qur'ân 3:132)

Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and beware (of evil): if ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Messenger’s duty to proclaim (the Message) in the clearest manner. (Qur'ân 5:92)

O ye who believe! obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: that is best, and most suitable for final determination. (Qur'ân 4:59)

Say: “Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance.(Qur'ân 24:54)

Ok. Those quotes never said to follow Satanic Jew corrupted Hadith. What the prophet's teachings were, are all in the Qur'an.

"Has anyone come across the quransist saying that the hadiths and sunnah are a satanic innovation because the quran says its already a detailed scripture (which i dont dispute)? But surely if the Quran addressed EVERY single problem then how big do you think the quran would be?"

How could a book that says Prophet Musa (pbuh) slapped the angel of death to prevent death ever be useful? If the Qur'an addressed every single problem - It already does.

After reading most of the stuff, I think I'm actually a Quranist.

However, I am 100% sure that the Jews corrupted the hadith (Bukhari was a Jew). The non Muslims really use these hadith to slam Islam.

Jewish belief 1 - Allah has arms and feet

 Volume 9, Book 93, Number 541:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "Paradise and Hell (Fire) quarrelled in the presence of their Lord. Paradise said, 'O Lord! What is wrong with me that only the poor and humble people enter me ?' Hell (Fire) said, I have been favored with the arrogant people.' So Allah said to Paradise, 'You are My Mercy,' and said to Hell, 'You are My Punishment which I inflict upon whom I wish, and I shall fill both of you.'" The Prophet added, "As for Paradise, (it will be filled with good people) because Allah does not wrong any of His created things, and He creates for Hell (Fire) whomever He will, and they will be thrown into it, and it will say thrice, 'Is there any more, till Allah (will put) His Foot over it and it will become full and its sides will come close to each other and it will say, 'Qat! Qat! Qat! (Enough! Enough! Enough!) .

2) A she monkey committed adultery

Volume 5, Book 58, Number 188:  Narrated 'Amr bin Maimun:

During the pre-lslamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along with them.

3)  Book 30, Number 30.1.7 is just plain disgusting

4)  Volume 9, Book 93, Number 530:

Narrated Jarir bin 'Abdullah:
The Prophet said, "You will definitely see your Lord with your own eyes."

I've even heard them say Allah will give us an angry look on the day of judgement. Allah has no form! Even deism makes more sense in front of these hadith. Deism is like, God is one, but he didn't send revelation. He has no form either, and he's unified with nature.

 Volume 1, Book 8, Number 360:

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:

While Allah's Apostle was carrying stones (along) with the people of Mecca for (the building of) the Ka'ba wearing an Izar (waist-sheet cover), his uncle Al-'Abbas said to him, "O my nephew! (It would be better) if you take off your Izar and put it over your shoulders underneath the stones." So he took off his Izar and put it over his shoulders, but he fell unconscious and since then he had never been seen naked.

 Volume 4, Book 53, Number 400:

Narrated Aisha:

Once the Prophet was bewitched so that he began to imagine that he had done a thing which in fact he had not done. The rest is too inappropriate to write here

Women compared to dogs and donkeys

 Book 004, Number 1034:

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: A woman, an *** and a dog disrupt the prayer, but something like the back of a saddle guards against that.

Abu Huraira admits fabrication:

 Volume 7, Book 64, Number 268:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

"The Prophet said, 'The best alms is that which is given when one is rich, and a giving hand is better than a taking one, and you should start first to support your dependents.' A wife says, 'You should either provide me with food or divorce me.' A slave says, 'Give me food and enjoy my service." A son says, "Give me food; to whom do you leave me?" The people said, "O Abu Huraira! Did you hear that from Allah's Apostle?" He said, "No, it is from my own self."

And the worst, female abuse:  Volume 8, Book 82, Number 828:

Narrated Aisha:

Abu Bakr came to towards me and struck me violently with his fist and said, "You have detained the people because of your necklace." But I remained motionless as if I was dead lest I should awake Allah's Apostle although that hit was very painful.

http://www.experienceproject.com/stories/Love-Astronomy/2824243 << where I first wrote it

THIS IS JUST A SUMMARY! THERE IS A LOT, INCLUDING ORBITS AND STUFF THAT I OMITTED ON PURPOSE!

Let's go to the beginning, to the very beginning.
Photons could not travel "in the beginning", there was no light. The universe was condensed in an "alpha state". It composed mainly of Hydrogen, Helium and a little of Lithium. When a gas becomes too hot it ionizes and becomes opaque like today's smoke.
The Qur'an is fully compatible with the big bang, as we see:
[Quran 41.11] Then He directed himself to the Heaven when it was SMOKE, and then said to it and to Earth: "Come willingly or by force" they said "We do come willingly"

After the big bang, the condensed matter started to expand, the universe was created in a state of timelessness.
[Quran 21.30] Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the Earth were meshed together then We ripped them apart? And then We made of water everything living? Would they still not believe?

The Qur'an continues, talking about the expansion of the universe.
[Quran 51.47] And the heaven, We built it with craftsmanship and We are still expanding.

There are two opposing orders in the universe, symmetry order and grouping order. They can be seen all over in nature. These are described in the Qur'an:

[051:049] And of everything have we created pairs that you may reflect.

Notable examples of the two orders in the universe:

The honey bee makes honeycombs in a hexagonal shape. A hexagon is the most appropriate geometric form for the maximum use of a given area.

Examples of symmetrical orders in the universe:

 Additionally, the Qur'an tells us:

"He Who created the seven heavens in layers. You will not find any discrepancy in the creation of the All-Merciful. Look again-do you see any gaps? Then look again and again. Your sight will return to you dazzled and exhausted! "(Qur'an, 67:3-4)

We see rings and layers:

[55:37] When the sky disintegrates, and turns rose colored like paint.

As you can see every simple thing is made from a pair of these orders:

Of course, a big example of symmetry order, the Ka'aba:

What will be the ultimate fate of the universe?

The universe will end with the big crunch in the Qur'an.
21:104 "The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it."

Basically the big bang will reverse and the universe will go to a zero state (flatten out). This is based on Einstein's works on astronomy. The universe will one day expand so much that it will collapse into a black hole. It implies that the universe's action is going to reverse. This is the hypothesis on everythingforever.com.

The Qur'an: "Say: “Can any of your idols initiate creation, then revert it?” say “It is God who initiates the creation, and then reverts it. Then, how could you deviate?” (10:34)"

Additionally, the age of the Earth and the universe is given in relativity to each other, as Einstein's theory states that time is relative.

We see the Earth was created in two periods (youms):
Quran 41:9 "Say, "Do you indeed disbelieve in He who created the earth in two days and attribute to Him equals?..."

...and the universe in six:
Your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then settled Himself firmly on the Throne... (Qur'an, 7:54)

Now when we divide the age of the Earth / the age of the universe, we get
2 days / 6 days = 1/3. Let's check this with what modern science has to say. The age of the universe is 13.7 billion years old. One third of 13.7 billion = 4.5 billion years, the age of the Earth.

How do we know that it's not talking about literally 6 days? Well because, we see throughout the entire Qur'an that time is relative.

On that Day He will call you, and you will answer (His Call) with (words of) His Praise and Obedience, and you will think that you have stayed (in this world) but a little while! (Surat al-Isra, 52)

And on the Day when He shall gather them together, (it will seem to them) as if they had not tarried (on earth) longer than an hour of a day: they will recognise each other. (Surah Yunus, 45)

He will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." He will say: "You, stayed for only a little while – if you had only known!" (Surat al-Mumenoon, 112-114)

Yet they ask you to hasten on the Punishment! But Allah will not fail in His Promise. Truly, a day in the sight of your Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning. (Surat al-Hajj, 47)

The angels and the spirit ascend to him in a day the measure of which is like fifty thousand years. (Surat al-Maarij, 4)

Then We drew (a veil) over their ears, for a number of years, in the Cave, (so that they could not hear). Then We wakened them up so that We might know which of the two parties would best calculate the time that they had tarried. (Surat al-Kahf, 11-12)

Such (being their state), we roused them (from sleep), so that they might question each other. Said one of them, "How long have you stayed (here)?" They said, "We have stayed (perhaps) a day, or part of a day." (At length) they (all) said, "Allah (alone) knows best how long you have stayed here.... (Surat al-Kahf, 19)

Or (take) the instance of one who passing by a hamlet, all in ruins and quite desolate, said: "Oh! how shall Allah (ever) bring it to life, now that it is dead?" Therefore, Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then brought him back to life. Allah asked: "How long did you tarry (thus)?" He said: (Perhaps) a day or part of a day." He said: "No, you have tarried thus a hundred years; but look at your food and your drink; they show no signs of age; and look at your donkey: And so that We may make you a sign to the people, look further at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh." When this was shown clearly to him, he said: "I know that Allah has power over all things." (Surat al-Baqara, 259)

I'll call it: The innocence of Children
It'll be on e-book format, I'll upload it on TPB for people to read. Was thinking of selling it to amazon but hey, education should be free!

What will it be about? The pedophilia in Christian churches and the bible

Current ideas: Christmas, forcing kids to read books of violence, exposing children to porn, ...

wow

You know all this makes me wonder. The Arab Muslims back in Biruni's time figured out the exact radius of the Earth which scientists had calculated using satellites later. Biruni knew trigonometry and the area of a sphere. I'm pretty sure he must've figured out the area of the Earth.

As-Salamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Humans evolved from humans, not apes. All creatures evolved from the same creature but of different size and shape. You don't see a fly turning into a dragonfly for instance. And Darwinism is regarded as a misconception by many scientists.

I was trying to tell the forum users here this for a loooong time. I don't know how you did it in a couple of sentences.

Saudis drink alcohol all the time. They say they can drink, but not eat pork. I swear...

283
Some modern interpretations claim the Qur'an differs from the Bible in that it doesn't say that the entire world was submerged in water. According to these sources, only certain parts of the world were submerged under water, one of them being the region of Noah and his people. However, there is little in the Qur'an to support this point of view. Islam differentiates from Christianity on the account of the animals loaded in the ark. According to Islam, Noah's ark was a flat watercraft made of logs, tied together with primitive ropes, the flood was local, around the Dead Sea area, and the animals were Noah's domesticated animals.

284
I agree. Whenever an Atheist asks for proof of God I tell them the Qur'an is flawless. Once I refute all of their arguments, my answer gets deleted.
