Here is more information on to why the OT is irrelevant to us and to prophet Muhammad pbuh:
Quran[6:145] Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to ME [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animals or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impure - or it be [that slaughtered in] disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."
Here "Me" referring to prophet Muhammad pbuh and us Muslims. this verse is the law for us what Allah swt has prohibited to us. Now lets compare it to what Quran says is prohibited to the Jews.
Quran[6:146] "And to those who are Jews We prohibited every animal of uncloven hoof; and of the cattle and the sheep We prohibited to them their fat, except what adheres to their backs or the entrails or what is joined with bone. [By] that We repaid them for their injustice. And indeed, We are truthful."
Above verse sheds light on WHY? did Allah swt give Jews such STRICT prohibitions, Simple, they were unjust and they received a STRICT punishment. So what is the difference between the Laws in Quran and Laws in Torah in regards to Food Prohibitions.
1. The food limitations in Torah are a means of punishment for Jews being transgressors because they continuously broke the command that Allah swt gave them when Moses pbuh was with them so the laws were given to them were STRICT and PUNISHMENT, so that they may learn from their own errors.
2. Food limitations in Quran are only regards to animals that are truly IMPURE and truly BAD FOR HEALTH.
3. Quran is the LAW for the Muslims, not OT(Torah) we know this from above verses because prophet Muhammad pbuh said "Which was REVEALED TO ME".
So Muslims, Rest in ease those who are confused, the Prohibitions in Torah are IRRELEVANT to us, because the LAW that Allah swt gave to us is QURAN. =)
Also it seems not all camels were prohibited to the jews since if you look at this image:
you can see that camel hooves are split, thus meaning their must be a specific camel that was prohibited to them. Also as I mentioned in the earlier post, there is ABSOLUTLY NO indication in regards to rabbits in both Quran and the Sunnah, thus makes rabbits HALAL.

[4.46] Of those who are Jews (there are those who) alter words from their places and say: We have heard and we disobey and: Hear, may you not be made to hear! and: Raina, distorting (the word) with their tongues and taunting about religion; and if they had said (instead): We have heard and we obey, and hearken, and unzurna it would have been better for them and more upright; but Allah has cursed them on account of their unbelief, so they do not believe but a little.
[4.50] See how they forge the lie against Allah, and this is sufficient as a manifest sin. (one of the forgeries was making usury permissible and certain alcohol permissible)
[4.161] And their taking usury though indeed they were forbidden it and their devouring the property of people falsely, and We have prepared for the unbelievers from among them a painful chastisement.
[4.160] Wherefore for the iniquity of those who are Jews did We disallow to them the good things which had been made lawful for them and for their hindering many (people) from Allah's way.
[5.78] Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium; this was because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit. (this is referring to the Pharisses and other munafik jews)
[7.138] And We made the children of Israel to pass the sea; then they came upon a people who kept to the worship of their idols. They said: O Musa! make for us a god as they have (their) gods. He said: Surely you are a people acting ignorantly:
[9:34] O you who believe! most surely many of the doctors of law [rabbis] and the monks eat away the property of men falsely, and turn (them) from Allah's way; and (as for) those who hoard up gold and silver and do not spend it in Allah's way, announce to them a painful chastisement....
[17.4] And We had made known to the children of Israel in the Book: Most certainly you will make mischief in the land twice, and most certainly you will behave insolently with great insolence.
[61.14] O you who believe! be helpers (in the cause) of Allah, as~ Isa son of Marium said to (his) disciples: Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the cause) of Allah. So a party of the children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved; then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they became uppermost.
As you can see from above the Jews continuously disbelieved as we all Muslims know. so these Dietry prohibitions are specifically to the JEWS and not us Muslims nor prophet Muhammad pbuh nor any prophet.

But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance – [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], DARABA(TURN AWAY) from Them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.(4:34)
"TURN AWAY" can refer to same as leaving the home or changing one's lifestyle that where you do not communicate with the other individual.

"Those who listen to the Word (the Quran) and follow the best meaning in it / best of it (Arabic: fayattabi'una ahsanahu) those are the ones whom God has guided and those are the one's endowed with understanding (Arabic: Albabi)
So now we know that the best understanding of DARABA referring to striking of wife, is not striking but rather TURNING AWAY from the wife. also note that prophet Muhammad pbuh never Strike any of his wives but rather he did turn away from them when he was angry. below is the example of a time when that happened.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was, once, angry with Safiyyah and so Safiyyah went to Aisha and said to her, "Could you make the Prophet (peace be upon him) forgive me and I would give up my day for you?" Aisha said, "Yes." Aisha then took her yellow veil and perfumed it and then sat beside the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said, "O Aisha, keep away from me, it is not your day". Aisha said, "It is Allah's Grace and He bestows it upon whomever He wants," and then she told him the whole matter and he forgave Saffiyyah. (Ibn Majah, An-Nikah, vol. 1 p.634, Cited in Muhammad Fathi Mus'ad, The Wives of the Prophet Muhammad: Their Strives and Their Lives, p.174)

Being a Doctor yourself, your words in regards to medical diagnosis is much more reliable then a person who has no experience in such field. nevertheless great job sister, I liked your refutation it was clear cut and to the point. Also note Ali Sina became a Christian, it is pathetic how he prides himself as an intellectual and instead converts to a religion that is filled with contradictions, it just may be that he loves the money that he gets from Pamella Gellar and it must be their new scheme. Yes, I did address what you are pointing out, it is important to note that the message of Islam started out in arabia. Thus that verse was referring to the jews of Arabia, particularly the Jews of Hejaz. from the source I pointed out earlier, it seems that the Hejazi jews became confused due to the additional laws that Hellenistic jews created that made Azariya to be Son of God in literal sense. Which also explains why they never objected to this notion even though they had plenty of time and the fact that among the scholars of the jews who converted the individual shahabi Abdullah ibn Salam(ra) could have pointed this out, BUT HE DIDN'T. which only reinforces the rhetoric that indeed due to the additional bible corpus pages created by Hellenistic jews the Hejazi jews became confused and regarded NOT ezra but Azariya as Son of God. Also the many verses in quran pointing out the discrepancies of the Bible only proves further this rhetoric.

Yes, brother i think the quran when talking about Uzair is actually mentioning Azariya. While doing some digging, i found this
Viviane Comerro, Professeur in Islamic literature at INALCO, considers the possibility of Quranic Uzair not being Ezra but Azariah instead, relying on Ibn Qutaybah, and identifying a confusion committed by Muslim exegetes.[clarification needed] She declares : "There is, from muslim traditionalists, a confusion between two distinct characters, Ezra ['Azrà] et Azariah ['Azarya(h)](...) Thus, it is possible that the quranic vocable Uzayr could find its origin in Azariah's one." [32]

As my hypothesis was that it could be that the arabian jews became confused and made uzair into son of God. Not the son of God which normally means pious person, but the christian kind. This makes perfect sense, since this was addressing to the jews of arabia.

Brother ur not understanding the verse of the Quran, when mentioned jesus as Son of God and equating that to jew's Ezra, it means that Jews believed that Ezra was literal son of God same as how christians think. However, as mentioned in earlier post it can be possible that this could be directed towards the jews of the arabia who were influenced by polytheist arabs and could have regarded Ezra as son of God. Or it could just mean that they showed to much love to Ezra to the point it would be no different then not professing that Ezra is Son of God by mouth but in his love they would go to far and believe that in their heart. As allah swt says he is the Knower of what they conciel in their hearts.

Jews classify rabbit for same impurity as poek. However, if u look at the effects from consumption of it, it is not at all alike. Even though rabbit produce 2 forms of scat, 1 that is half-dogested and they have to re-dogest it, while the other they do not touch at all. This is because of their weak digestive system.
While pork causes much harm in regards to colesteral and high blood pressure, many ofher illuneses, rabbits however provide rich proteins. While being reduced in fat they provide 3 times the serving of meat of a cow. Also it is important to note that for us muslims, the cow and rabbit falls into same category. They both digest their own scat. However, it is so to gain specific nutrients. This however, has no effect on the consumer.
Plus rabbit does not fit into the criteria of forbidden animals in the shariah.
Quran 2:173 "He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
Also those animals with fangs and talons are made haram aswell. So no where is there any indication of a rabbit.
