People should see how silly atheists and islamophobes can get.

Quote
Silly? Hahah. We're not the ones out on the streets like the Westboro Baptist church holding up signs like "God hates fags" and stuff. Oh and btw, Islamophobic is not a word. Just saying.

But Atheists are out on the streets going "MOCK THEM! RIDICULE THEM! IN PUBLIC! DON'T FALL FOR THE CONVENTION, THAT WE'RE TOO POLITE!"

Cant we just say Dajjal is gonna be a baddy and get over it?

He's going off about how he's gonna be a one eyed alien that does magic tricks and is omnipresent (an Earthly creature cannot be omnipresent). His top arguments:

"The Shi'a say Dajjal is a system"
"The Ahmadi say Dajjal is Christianity"
"Famous scholars agree with me!"
Argument from authority...-.-

Asalamwalaikum warahmatullah

Brother, the Dajjal is 100% a real person.  He is someone that will come to us in the future first calling himself a savior, then a messenger, and then god himself.  Allah will give him the abilities to control weather, cure incurable diseases and bring the dead back to life.  Everyone agrees that he is a person and he will appear in the future.

All characteristics of Horus

140
It can't be the Mosaic law (the ten commandments) because all the books were detailed AND the commandments are taken directly from the Egyptian book of the dead. And 10 is a nice solid number that's why they chose that.

141
"If people who were infested with lice and bad body odors tempted him for 40 days and 40 nights, then I wonder what the real heavenily models and temptations of today would do to his head."

while it's funny, it's quite blasphemous since it is referring to a prophet!

@tanveer
In truth, the fact that some of the rulings in the Qur'an have
been abrogated actually represents one of the evidences to prove its
divinity. The Qur'an is the last book that has been revealed by God for
the guidance of humanity. It is a book that puts forward wholly
practicable methods in the moulding of an ideal society on the basis of
a moral code which it, in itself, dictates. It is, in addition, a book that
seeks to show how, in the process of creating an exemplary and ideal
society out of nothing but the most primitive human conditions, the
divine law had influenced the making of such a society in the various
stages of its evolution. The Qur'an does not contain certain numbered
injunctions like the Ten Commandments that were revealed by God. It
is, in fact, the compendium of laws that grew with the beat and rhythm
of an evolving society that would eventually result in the fruitful
transformation of an entire people. In that chain of legislation, it is but
natural that the rulings that came at a time of total decadence will
become irrelevant when the society has gone past that stage in its
evolution. It is this loss of relevance that is, in fact, implied in the term
‘abrogation.’
Consider, for instance, the verses related to the consumption of
intoxicants. It must be remembered that the Qur'an was revealed to a
society that virtually bathed in wine. It was not about wine, which
turned man into beast, that the Qur'an first talked to them about. The
Qur'an firstly impressed upon their minds the purest conception about
God and of the unflinching awareness of the Hereafter. Indeed, the
Qur'an had, as the first step, sought to create a readiness in submitting
one’s entire life before the Creator. It was after having created a
mind-set to which the acceptance of all legislations that were confirmed
to have been issued from God had become easy that the Qur'an
declared: “They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say:
‘In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is
greater than the profit.’” (Qur'an 2:219)
This was the first stage. The Qur'an’s approach here has been
to first seek to show the benefits, or otherwise, of a thing and to make
it clear that the sin in it would be greater than any benefit that may
accrue thereof.
With this verse, the society, now trained in alienating itself from
sin and in moving along the path of virtue, soon begins to free itself
from the vice-like grip of intoxicants and gambling. It was then that
the second verse was revealed: “O ye who believe! Approach not
prayers in a state of intoxication, until ye can understand all
that say ...” (Qur'an 4:43)
The prayer constitutes a conservation with the Lord Creator.
However, many a man approached prayer in a state of intoxication.
Indeed, the degree of their slavery to intoxicants can be seen from this
single fact. The Qur'an had then made the second step towards
achieving the goal of a society that was free of intoxicants. Prayer
must be made only with the acute awareness of that which is being
said in the conservation with God; with the mind and heart solemnly
influenced by that which is being uttered therein. Briefly put, therefore,
prayer must never be in a state of intoxication.
With the arrival of the second ruling a good section of those
conscious of God were freed of their slavery to intoxicating drinks.
They resolved, thenceforth, that they would, at least, abstain from
intoxicants during the times of the five daily prayers. It was then that
the third ruling, which sought to fully abolish all intoxicants, was finally
revealed.
“O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, sacrificing
to stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination - of
Satan’s handiwork: Eschew such (abomination), that ye may
prosper. Satan’s plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred
between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you
from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not
then abstain?” (Qur'an 5:90,91)
With the revelation of this verse, the other verses that were
revealed earlier had now become irrelevant. They were, in fact, verses
that had been revealed for the creation of an intoxicant-free society
which were revealed in the two stages of the society’s evolution. It
can, therefore, be said that with the coming of this verse, the other
two verses had, for all practical purposes, become abrogated.
It was mentioned earlier that even this abrogation serves only
to stress the divine nature of the Qur'an. Prophet Muhammad (e)
was, himself, never one to take intoxicating drinks even before his
attainment of prophethood. Even if he were to put forward a law
against intoxicants which was of his own making, it would have been
in a fashion that straightaway prohibited all intoxicants forthwith.
However, it is the Creator who is best aware of the intricacies as well
as of the methodology of variation of the human mind. It is for that
same reason that He brought a law into effect stage by stage. When
such is the implementative process, therefore, it is only natural that the
laws issued in the earlier stage tend to be abrogated at a later stage.
This is why it has been said that the Qur'an makes it clear that these
abrogations are, indeed, from Allah, the Omniscient.

Even most of the hadith is made up

To There is only one god:  What r u arguing about bro?  All the scholars say that the dajjal is a person.  Read the narrations about his appearance.  Redish hair, one eyed and only muslims will see the word kafir written on his forehead.  There is nothing to argue about bro

I already went over it. One eyed, only believers see the deception, etc. You should read my original post.

144
two things I already spotted on one skim. The illuminati and freemasons are not the same thing. Second, you're quoting people who wanted to scare children and make them behave by making Dajjal look like such a fearful character. In fact, these hadith makers even go as far as making up hadith from Dajjal's perspective like: " Narrated Dajjal: Hi. I am Dajjal. I am here chained up on an island. Let's be friends!  8)"

Oh and there's BILLIONS of references that say that the Bavarian illuminati were founded in 1776. Google helps.

What I find so odd is that all these forged hadith about people who found Dajjal while sailing a ship on an island are obviously fake. If I saw a one eyed alien I would sh!t-brix. Just sayin.

Also, the Dajjal is a literal person, but freemasonry is his system, we are likely to see him our life time, (May Allah protect us all).
Christians don't worship the sun.

Scripture says many will be misled by the one-eyed, and only the believers can read the 'kufr' on his forehead. What is the importance of the forehead? In the Qur'an, it is well known that lying is generated from the forehead. Thus, he will use mental deception and mislead the youth. I have interpreted this in my own way. The "one-eyed" is a reference to Horus, and the believers will see through Christian sun worship. Dajjal = Christianity.

Think about it! Christians worship on SUNday when the Sun is rising from the East, they pray towards the EAST. Jesus is a great ripoff of the ancient Egyptian sun God Horus: 12 disciples, "only begotten son", death for three days then resurrection, birth under the star Sirius, followed by three kings, it goes on and on but no one will notice and no one will care. This is the power of Dajjal.
Careful when you talk about Jesus PBUH bro. We do after all believe he was a prophet too.

but we don't believe he was the sun of God, the 12 disciples, crucifixion, three kings, etc.
In fact, Paul didn't even know the historical Jesus

146
Dajjal is not a literal person. It is a warning about religions other than Islam (95% of other religions are derived from Horus). It is really sad that Adnaanshaikh195 doesn't see it and resort to useless illogical arguments like "oooh bogus look spreading misinformation scholars don't agree" well guess what? Think for yourself! The scholars think it's gonna be this one eyed alien with a magic rod that will hypnotize everyone and control weather while no one is noticing! Well, there's too much shirk in there. Only God is omnipresent, I do not see how you can believe Dajjal will be 'everywhere' as a single person. Isn't God also anthropomorphized in the Qur'an? It's so it makes sense to people who don't understand! Oh and if anyone wants to criticize, please keep it to constructive criticism, not useless nonsense like "seriously, stop with your sh***y theories"
Let's take a look at all the 'prophecies' about Dajjal to prove my point!

*Cue dramatic music, possibly thriller?*
Narrated Ibn Umar:
Once Allah's Apostle stood amongst the people, glorified and praised Allah as He deserved and then mentioned the Dajjal saying, "l [sic] warn you against him (i.e. the Dajjal) and there was no prophet but warned his nation against him. No doubt, Noah warned his nation against him but I tell you about him something of which no prophet told his nation before me. You should know that he is one-eyed, and Allah is not one-eyed. (Sahih Bukhari 4.553. Also, Sahih Bukhari 4.553, Sahih Muslim 41.7000, Sunan Abu Dawud 37.4318, etc).

He IS one eyed, meaning present tense, it's NOT a prophecy of the future.
Now one eyed, hmm let's see. Where do we see the one-eyed symbolism? Oh yea..

I've already explained this in other posts. The eye obviously belongs to Horus, an ancient Egyptian personification (anthropomorphism) of the sun. The pyramid is clearly Egyptian. There are 13 layers on the pyramid. This represents Horus and his 12 apostles.
The Roman numerals at the bottom of the pyramid are 1776, the year the 'establishment' took place. The text at the top is Annuit cœptis (also composed of 13 letters), which means 'undertaking/establishment approved' (in other words, mission accomplished). At the bottom it says 'Novus Ordo Seclorum', Novus means 'new', 'ordos' means order, 'seclorum' means world. So rearranged in English, it's a new world order.
One example should suffice. I'm not gonna go into details of the great seal, don't bother looking it up, you won't need it.
Oh and about the one eye, Horus' left eye represents the sun, and the right eye represents the moon. Moon worship died out in the past, but Sun worship, you have no idea..

Moving on...

Next one says he will be red skinned:
'Abdullah reported on the authority of his father 'Umar b. Khattab that he heard from the Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) say: I was sleeping when I saw myself making circuit around the Ka'bah, and I saw there a man of fair complexion with straight hair between two men. Water was flowing from his head or water was falling from his head. I said: Who is he? They answered: He is the son of Mary. Then I moved forward and cast a glance and there was a bulky man of red complexion with thick locks of hair on his head, blind of one eye as it his eye was a swollen grape. I asked: Who is he? They said: He is Dajjal. He had close resemblance with Ibn Qatan amongst men. (Sahih Muslim 1.327)

It's obvious here that the guy just pointed to an ancient Egyptian painting of Horus, being red skinned. That's why they were all "who's that? Dajjal. Oh, looks like my friend Ibn Qatan. Hey, isn't that the son of Mary [Jesus]?"
See, this verse points out two things in an obvious manner:
1) Horus
2) Horus disguised as Jesus (hence the son of Mary)

Here, red skinned, with only one eye visible:

Horus chilling with 12 disciples, one of them being Scorpio (Judas), which 'betrays' the sun.

Next: The believers will be able to 'read the kufr on his forehead'. Clever metaphor for people like me, who can already see through the deception.
Ibn Shihab said: 'Umar b. Thabit al-Ansari informed me that some of the Companions of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) informed him that the day when Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) warned people against the Dajjal, he also said: There would be written between his two eyes (the word) Kafir (infidel) and everyone who would resent his deeds would be able to read or every Muslim would be about to read, and he also said: Bear this thing in mind that none amongst you would be able to see Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, until he dies. (Sahih Muslim 41.7000)

The ones that come now are the more obvious ones. They share amazing parallels with Horus.

* Resurrecting the dead - Horus could 'resurrect the dead (crops)'. Obviously if you take the hadith on this literally (Sahih Bukhari 3.106) you are committing shirk. Christian Jesus could resurrect the dead, remember?
* Travels in the clouds - Various references in the bible point to the claim that the lord travels 'in the clouds, and every eye shall see him'. Can't get more obvious than Horus in the clouds (The sun appears to be moving)
* Weather control - One of the more obvious ones. When the Sun has fewer sunspots, it gives off less energy, less energy makes its way to Earth, and our planet cools down.

We now come to the conclusion that Dajjal = the mass deception led by Christianity

To further support my claim:
He would come to the people and invite them (to a wrong religion) and they would affirm their faith in him and respond to him. (Sahih Muslim 41.7015)

Christians aren't allowed to enter Mecca/Medina today.
He would come but would not be allowed to ether the mountain passes to Medina. (Sahih Muslim 41.7017)

Isa (PBUH) will metaphorically 'kill' the deception (Dajjal) by 'breaking the cross', or by telling the Christians he wasn't divine, he wasn't really the son of God.
When the enemy of Allah would see him, it would (disappear) just as the salt dissolves itself in water and if he (Jesus) were not to confront them at all, even then it would dissolve completely, but Allah would kill them by his hand and he would show them their blood on his lance (the lance of Jesus Christ). (Sahih Muslim 41.6924)

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

I have had in my possession the 6,543 Mutawatir Hadiths that were available for download on the Saudi Arabia's official Hadiths Search Website at: www.al-islam.com (they changed the links around).  I downloaded all of them and kept them.  I slightly used them when I demonstrated that a Hadith was indeed a Mutawatir at:  www.answering-christianity.com/360_joints.htm.

There are 9 Sunni Hadiths Volumes.  They are:

1-  Sahih Bukhari.

2-  Sahih Muslim.

3-  Sunan Al-Tirmithi.

4-  Sunan Al-Nisa'ee.

5-  Sunan Abu Dawud.

6-  Sunan Ibn Maja.

7-  Musnad Ahmed.

8-  Muwattaa' Malik.

9-  Sunan Al-Darmi.

The Hadiths, in general, from these volumes and others, are divided into 5 categories:

1-  The Mutawatir Hadiths - Those are ones that exist multiple times in a single volume and they exist in many or all of the Hadiths' main 9 volumes.  Those are the strongest and the best Hadiths.  They were common knowledge to the people, 1,500 years ago, and the people had successfully passed them down from generation to generation.

For example: They are like the proverbs, wisdoms and sayings that you learned from your parents, teachers, friends and life in general.

2-  The Ahaad or Hasan Hadiths - Ahaad is derived from Ahad, which means Absolute One, and the latter is one of Allah Almighty's 99 Divine Attributes.  Hasan means good.  Both refer to the same Hadiths, and they are Hadiths that have complete good, solid and trustworthy people in their chain of narrations, but they were not narrated by multiple sources.

A single Hadith is narrated by multiple people.  Regardless of their number, the Hadith is still considered as one Hadith.  Multiple Hadiths or multiple sources mean that more than one Hadith exists, with each Hadith having its own chain of narrators.  An Ahaad or Hasan Hadith is one that is either one or very few of the same Hadiths.

An Ahaad or Hasan Hadith is not a Mutawatir one, and thus, it is difficult to use multiple sources to verify its originality.  With Mutawatir Hadiths, we could use them against each others to validate and authenticate each others.  If you have a certain story, and you have more than 20 Hadiths speaking about it, then it is much easier to determine what the original Saying of the Prophet was like.  This is not possible with the Ahaad or Hasan Hadiths.  You have to take them at their face values and trust that they had not been altered by people who came much later, either intentionally or unintentionally.

3-  The Da'eef Hadiths - They are the weak Hadiths.  Da'eef means weak in Arabic, and a da'eef Hadith is one that is not Mutawatir and not an Ahaad or Hasan one.  It is one that has questionable narrators in its chain.  They were either unknown, or they were people who had a history of questionable integrity.  The Hadith could be true and it could be false.  It is considered weak and doubtful.  Most Muslim Scholars reject the Da'eef Hadiths.

4-  The Maw'qoof Hadiths - They are also called Maq'too'a Hadiths.  Maw'qoof means stopped, and Maq'too'a means "is cut" in Arabic.  These are Hadiths that have gaps or missing links in their chain of narrators.  They too are considered weak and very doubtful.  Most Muslim Scholars reject the Maw'qoof Hadiths.

5-  The Maw'doo'a Hadiths - They are ones that are suspicious.  They appear, based on their text and other factors, to be fabrications that were invented on the mouths of the Prophet and/or his companions.  Almost all of the Muslim scholars reject these Hadiths.

There are also the Qudsi Hadiths, and these are divided between the Mutawatir and Ahaad Hadiths.  Qudsi or Qudusi Hadiths are ones that were inspired by the Holy Spirit (روح القدس).  Qudus (قدس) means holy, and Rouh (روح) means spirit in Arabic.

For more information, visit: http://www.answering-christianity.com/hadiths_of_the_fly.htm.

I've always wanted to have a dedicated Online Mutawatir Hadith Search Engine.  This is not to put down the Ahaad (singular) Hadiths.  But since they're the strongest and most reliable among all of the Hadiths, then it would be nice to dedicate a search engine for them.  And this is exactly what I will do with www.MutawatirHadiths.com, insha'Allah.  The 6,543 Hadiths are currently all in Arabic.  The Saudi government hasn't translated much of them into English.  I will therefore do the following, insha'Allah (if Allah Almighty is Willing):

1-  Build a Search Engine for all of these Hadiths, which are divided among the 9 Sunni mentioned Volumes above.

2-  Since all of them are in Arabic, I will post a link near each returned Hadith, by the Search Engine, that says something like this: "Translate this Hadith into English".

3-  The reader can submit a translation of the Hadith through the form that I will create, and in turn, I will look at it and either approve it, reject it, or modify it.

This insha'Allah will allow everyone who speaks Arabic to help.  I will personally work on the translations on daily basis, insha'Allah, once I get the files and programs online.

Please let me know if you have something helpful to add to this project.  If there is another website out there that already has them, then please let me know.  I searched and couldn't find any.  There are also many brothers and sisters who also inquired about such a website or database on other blogs.  If there is a dedicated website for the Mutawatir Hadiths out there, then I will make sure that they get linked or even routed to, insha'Allah.

The website, www.MutawatirHadiths.com, currently routes you to the website's main page.  Once I get it going, then I'll change it to its dedicated page and section, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

I don't get it. What's mutawiri

Quran Morality and Moral Code, Laws & QA / Re: beating
« on: January 23, 2013, 02:46:38 AM »
Peace

We all have heard about the Quranic surah 4 :34, there are 2 interpretations: One is beating is allowed only if its done lightly (sometimes with a toothpick, ibn abbas), the other is that beating is forbidden all together. the scholars of the latter part have backed up there claim by saying that "beat" in the verse actually means "leave", they also use the hadiths such as:
Narrated Mu'awiyah al-Qushayri: "I went to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) and asked him: What do you say (command) about our wives? He replied: Give them food what you have for yourself, and clothe them by which you clothe yourself, and do not beat them, and do not revile them.  (Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 11, Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah), Number 2139)"

Narrated Mu'awiyah ibn Haydah: "I said: Apostle of Allah, how should we approach our wives and how should we leave them? He replied: Approach your tilth when or how you will, give her (your wife) food when you take food, clothe when you clothe yourself, do not revile her face, and do not beat her.  (Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 11, Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah), Number 2138)"

It was narrated that Iyas bin 'Abdullah bin Abu Dhubab said:
"The Prophet said: 'Do not beat the female slaves of Allah.' Then 'Umar came to the Prophet and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the woman have become hostile/bold/harmful towards their husbands? So order the beating of them,' and they were beaten. Then many women went around to the family of Muhammad,. The next day he said: 'Last night seventy women came to the family of Muhammad, each woman complaining about her husband. You will not find that those are the best of you.' " (ibn Majah Chapter on Marriage)
However, in the hadiths they also use the same word for "beat" as the same word for "beat" in the quran (Idribuhunna); so by there logic, it could also mean leave.
My question is, how can we be sure that in means "leave" in the quranic verse but mean beat in the hadiths?
Thanks
peace

This verse should clear it
Qur'an 4:34 - Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those from whom you fear arrogance - advise them; forsake them in bed; and strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.

If she cheats on you, advise her against it. Then, forsake her in bed. The third time, strike her. Strike her once.

This is the power of Dajjal.
Bro, the Dajjal will be a literal person, he will emerge in Isfahan (Iran) with 70,000 jews behind him, this will happen at a time where the muslims will me in Constantinople and after victory, we will have news that the dajjal has arrived, and 1 third of the army will run away of fear, who Allah will not forgive.

The dajjals system is freemasonry, but the Dajjal (the antichrist) who'm all prophets warned about will be a literal person who Allah has sent to the jews after how they rejected Isa Aleyhi salam, Dajjal is not Christianity, even though Christianity is paganism, the antichrist is someone who the christians wait for too, but they interpret it as Obama and other foolishness along with it, Isa Aleyhi salam will descend in Syria and will chase after him and kill him at the gate of Ludd, don't interpret things out of the blue bro, aren't you a convert? The dajjal is the greatest fitnah mankind will have. He will come when the sea of galilee dries up which is soon, when Israel is the ruling state of the world etc, we don't have a khilafa atm and Imam Mahdi is going to be our next (maybe) Allah knows best.

Btw, the reason why Christianity is the way it is today, is because Constantine, in the year 325 AD in order to stop conflict with Christians who were always at war with them, he held a meeting known as the Nicea Council, and they then discussed wether Jesus was divine etc and they chose what gospels should be chosen etc, if you want the history of freemasonry I am willing to explain it all, at the council that's when paganism concepts were introduced, such as the resurrection bogus etc. The trinity itself was created as an establishment then too, but it's not just there that it began, it exists in the religion of Nimrod, Hinduism etc, basically constantine introduced paganism into the true teachings of Isa Aleyhisalam, you should learn about Paul too and how he was a freemason who used a dual identity who hijacked the faith, aka Christianity today.

Watch this video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fas6DQ9ZZ1o

As for Christianity, they worship Isa Aleyhi salam because it is there intention too, Allah will question Isa Aleyhi salam on the day of judgement in front of them and ask him if he asked them to worship him, Isa Aleyhisalam will return soon, which is likely in the next 30 years or less, and there will be more Judaism and Christianity, and the world will become muslim. Yajuj and Majuj will fight against him etc and Im guessing you already know what will happen with the worms etc. When Dajjal comes there will also be 7 entrances in Medina where the angels will protect him from entering, there are 7 today!, also he will camp outside, and he will say that is the Palace of Ahmad (Prophet Muhammad sallalu aleyhi wasalaam), and you know what's interesting? At the time this hadith was recorded, the Prophet's (salallahu aleyhi wasalaams)  mosque was only a house.

Please read the following, because even the strong muslims will approach the Dajjal when he comes thinking they will not fall for him, but instead they will become one of his followers!

http://www.discoveringislam.org/end_of_time.htm

There are many sections, including the Imam Mahdi section and the Dajjal, and what signs will come before it.

This site is excellent, the main page, but the only thing it lacks is the end times, as in the Dajjal and Imam Mahdi, The Dajjal is not completely metaphorical in the way Osama Abdallah thinks it is (I think he thinks that).

And kindly STOP interpreting ahadith in your own way, if you have any questions, ASK Me, i study the end times, history of religions (I am a student of comparative religion) literally all the time (In my free time).

And btw, HORUS does not exist, so stop making foolish interpretations in saying that 'Horus' will misguide people and make them one of his followers, The dajjal is the false-messiah the Jews await for, I repeat, he dajjal is the false-messiah the Jews await for.

Peace be upon you.

I NEVER said Horus was a real person. Horus is a personification for the Sun. I'm not misinterpreting hadith, in fact, my views make more sense than yours. The character of Horus, however, matches the following:

* One eyed (in a sense of sun worship. Left eye represents the moon and the right eye represents the sun)
* Blind in the left eye - Referring to the fact that moon worship will be dead long before, but sun worship will go in till the end
* Red skinned
* "There would be written between his two eyes (the word) Kafir (infidel) and everyone who would resent his deeds would be able to read" - People will start seeing through the deception at the 11th hour
* Raising dead people back to life - Look in the ancient Egyptian glyphs. All stories of the sun (or as they call it, Horus) could raise the dead crops back to life. The Sun promised a lot, along with the Nile river. It was also important for rain.
* Whirlwind travel around the world - The sun appears to be 'traveling' as seen from an Earthly perspective
* Commands rain or drought - This is one of the more obvious ones. When the Sun has fewer sunspots, it gives off less energy, less energy makes its way to Earth, and our planet cools down.
* Why do you think our beloved prophet (PBUH) recommended the first ten verses of Surah-al-Kahf?
Well, read em and find out!

1) [All] praise is [due] to Allah , who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance.
That's right. Anything with alterations, like the bible, is not to be trusted.

2) [He has made it] straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward (3) In which they will remain forever
A warning to those who try to follow the deception, and a reward for those who stay on track

4) And to warn those who say, " Allah has taken a son."
Christians

5) They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they speak not except a lie.
A lie, or deception. He's not going to do some "epic magic"

6) Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow.
Self explanatory

7) Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed.
Self-evident...

8 ) And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into] a barren ground.
The Earth running out of water

9) Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder?
This one needs some explaining. A hadith by our prophet (PBUH) says that judgment day would be like waking up from a long dream (Inception borrowed the idea of 'waking up' when you die).

10) [Mention] when the youths retreated to the cave and said, "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance."
When you 'wake up' you will ask for mercy

Dajjal will try to divert people to the wrong path, or Christianity.
He would come to the people and invite them (to a wrong religion) and they would affirm their faith in him and respond to him. (Sahih Muslim 41.7015)

As for this hadith you mentioned:

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The Dajjal would be followed by seventy thousand Jews of Isfahan wearing Persian shawls. (Sahih Muslim 41.7034)

It clearly says he would be "FOLLOWED BY", meaning the Jews have already accepted Dajjal.

Christians and other non believers aren't allowed to enter Makkah and Medina. This prophecy, like all the others, have already been fulfilled.

He would come but would not be allowed to ether the mountain passes to Medina. (Sahih Muslim 41.7017)

I am going to tell you about myself and I am Dajjal and would be soon permitted to get out and so I shall get out and travel in the land, and will not spare any town where I would not stay for forty nights except Mecca and Medina as these two (places) are prohibited (areas) for me and I would not make an attempt to enter any one of these two. An angel with a sword in his hand would confront me and would bar my way and there would be angels to guard every passage leading to it; (Sahih Muslim 41.7028)

We've all heard that when Isa (PBUH) will come at judgment day, he will 'break the cross', meaning tell the Christians that they were wrong! It's also in their bible (Jesus will push them away).

So he will metaphorically 'kill' the deception, or Dajjal.

Oh and Horus, the personification of the Sun, 'performed miracles', meaning he 'walked on water', as in, his reflection was cast over the waters.

Repeating: I know Horus isn't a real person, it's a personification of the Sun.
