I would like this to be a topic where we discuss the atheists arguements,
You didn't give any argument !

138
wa alaikum assalam

Islamic belief:
1- Allah is the creator of everything.

2- Prophet Adam if the first human that was created from dust.
" He began the creation of man with clay, And made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised: But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His Spirit. And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give!  (The Noble Quran, 32:5-9)"
If we take dust and add water to it, it will be mud. If it is left for some time, it will turn into clay. These are simply the stages of the creation of man.

3- Allah didn't tell us more details about the process of creation.

Scientific view

1- The scientific evolution:
'change over time',  'descent with modification', or 'the change of allele frequencies of a population over time'.

This is well established, testable, falsifiable and provable.

2-"Evolution" according to neo-darwinian scenario ( commonly called 'Evolution theory'):

'the idea that all life has descended from a single common ancestor over millions of years via a net gain in new genetic information'.

This is laughable Speculation; completely half baked, not testable, not falsifiable and not provable.

3- scientific Evidence ?
Fallacy of equivocation:
Atheists & Darwinists use undeniable examples of 'change over time' (variation) to prove 'the idea that all life has descended from a single common ancestor over millions of years via a net gain in new genetic information' (microbe-like-to-man evolution).

This inexcusable logic is called equivocation or the bait-and-switch fallacy, and occurs when someone changes the definition of a word halfway through an argument.
The supposed Evidence for Evolution is full of examples of 'change over time' as evidence for microbes-to-man evolution.

"The belief"

As you mentioned, the evolution theory is not provable: Can not be scientifically proved by observation. So, yes, it's just a belief/faith adopted by some atheists and some deluded folks.

wa alaikum assalam

What are the unique features of a Prophet?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad , is His slave and Messenger.

The Prophets of Allaah were distinguished with receiving the divine revelation through the honorable infallible angels, unlike the magicians and fortunetellers who receive their information from the lying devils. Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah may Allaah have mercy upon him wrote:

"The difference between the Prophet and the magician is greater than the difference between night and day. The Prophet is visited by an honorable angel who was informed by Allaah, while the magician and fortuneteller is accompanied by a devil who commands him and gives him information; Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means): {Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? They descend upon every sinful liar. They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars.} [Quran 26:221-223] There is a huge difference between the two in terms of the information received, the command, the source, and the recipient. There is no room for comparison!"

The Prophets were also distinguished with the miracles proving their truthfulness. The difference between miracles and witchcraft is that a miracle is an extraordinary incident paired with the challenge that it cannot be produced by any other. Al-Jalaal Al-Mahalli may Allaah have mercy upon him wrote, "A miracle, with which the Messengers are supported, is a supernatural event or ability that is contrary to the laws of nature, such as bringing the dead back to life, the execution of a whole generation, or water flowing from between the fingers, and it is paired with a challenge (to produce the like of it)..." [Jam‘ Al-Jawaami‘] On the other hand, the work of magicians can be undone by seeking refuge with Allaah from their evils; Allaah would undo their evil works and render their efforts futile.

Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah may Allaah have mercy upon him wrote:

"This is the condition of the people of the satanic states: their devils neglect them and flee when that which drives them away is mentioned to them such as the verse of Al-Kursi (Quran 2:255). Thus, if one reads this verse during a satanic state with true intention, it will eliminate it, such as one who entered fire with a satanic state or attends the listening to whistling and clapping of hands until the devils descend upon him and speak on his tongue unknown words." [Al-Furqaan bayna Awliyaa' Ar-Rahmaan wa Awliyaa' Ash-Shaytaan]

He may Allaah have mercy upon him wrote:

"The signs of the Prophets are essentially extraordinary, contrary to the laws of nature, and these cannot be challenged with their like. The fact that they are performed only by the Prophets of Allaah and cannot be challenged with their like are conditions for the signs and miracles of the Prophets and even in any proof. So a proof cannot be used as a proof unless it is peculiar to the matter for which it is used as a proof and it cannot be peculiar to it unless it cannot be refuted (i.e. a miracle cannot be considered proofs of Prophethood unless they are especially given to Prophets, and they cannot be especially given to Prophets unless they cannot be challenged with their like." [An-Nubuwwaat]

He may Allaah have mercy upon him listed the differences between the miracles of the Prophets and the extraordinary abilities of other than Prophets. He wrote:

"Firstly, the Prophet is truthful in whatever he is informing about the divine books. The news that is received from the Prophet will never fail to occur and is never inaccurate. On the contrary, magicians and sorcerers must inevitably lie...

Secondly, the Prophet of Allaah enjoins nothing but good, justice, seeking after winning the Hereafter, worshiping Allaah alone with no partners, carrying out righteous deeds, and piety; whereas magicians and sorcerers enjoin Shirk (polytheism), injustice, indulgence in worldly pleasures, sins, and transgression.

Thirdly, the nature of witchcraft and sorcery are common among those who practice them and are not extraordinary to them. On the contrary, the miracles of the Prophets are unique to them and their followers.

Fourthly, witchcraft and sorcery are acquired by seeking to learn them and exerting effort in this regard (and as such, these acts are not beyond the ability of mankind and jinn, and this can be challenged with its like). On the contrary, prophethood cannot be acquired by personal efforts; rather, it is a blessing conferred by Allaah upon the chosen person.

Fifthly, if we hypothetically assume that prophethood is acquired by personal effort, then it would only be attained through good deeds, truthfulness, justice, and worshiping Allaah alone without associating partners with Him. It could never be attained through lying about people, let alone lying about Allaah. Were prophethood to be acquired through personal efforts, then it would definitely require truthfulness in what the person says about Allaah.

Sixthly, the work of magicians and fortune-tellers is not beyond the ability of human beings and jinn, and they are enjoined to obey the Prophets of Allaah. On the contrary, the signs of the Prophets are beyond the ability of both mankind and jinn, rather, they are extraordinary to the laws of each and every individual to whom the Prophet of Allaah is sent.

Seventhly, the work of magicians and fortune-tellers can be challenged with its like, whereas the signs and miracles of the Prophets cannot be challenged with their like by anyone.

Eighthly, witchcraft is not extraordinary to the laws of the sons of Aadam (Adam); each kind of it is familiar for a group of people other than the Prophets. The miracles of the Prophets, on the other hand, are not usual for the dishonest who invent lies about Allaah and those who believe them.

Ninthly, the miracles with which the Prophet of Allaah is supported, such as the revelation of the Quran and (Allaah) talking directly to Prophet Moosa (Moses) may Allaah exalt his mention cannot be produced by any created being, and not even by the angels; however, other extraordinary events and acts can be produced by jinn and devils.

Tenthly, if the miracles can be performed by the angels, then it is inconceivable that the angels would invent lies about Allaah and falsely inform a human being that Allaah had chosen him to deliver the divine message when it is not true; rather, this is the work of the devils. Extraordinary events and acts performed by the allies of Allaah are not uncommon among the pious, while the miracles of the Prophets are extraordinary for the pious. The allies of Allaah are honored by extraordinary events and acts due to (devotion to) worship and supplication, unlike the miracles of the Prophets, which are not earned in such a way even if people asked for them, they are not granted except with the permission of Allaah.

Eleventhly, the Prophet of Allaah has been preceded by other Prophets; he commands what the previous Prophets have commanded; his call is not unprecedented. Likewise, the magicians and fortunetellers have been preceded by peers as well.

Twelfthly, the Prophet of Allaah enjoins only what benefits the people in the worldly life and the Hereafter; he enjoins good and forbids evil. He enjoins monotheism, sincerity, and truthfulness and forbids polytheism, lying, and injustice. The Fitrah (natural instinct) and the sound intellect agree with what the Prophets bring. Their commands conform to those of the previous Prophets of Allaah. Thus, the commands of the Prophet of Allaah conform to the sound intellect and the commands of the previous Prophets, stemming from the same source." [An-Nubuwwaat, pp. 558-560]

Allaah knows best.

I don't know what you are talking about, but he can't follow simple logic.
The Materialist God-rejector said:
"It's easy to impose a design upon things that exist by chance or developed through a natural process like evolution.
"
a-He claimed design is formed without a creator/designer !
b- He claimed creation is formed by "chance" !!
c- He claimed natural processes can "create".!
No one with even half-functioning brain would say that !
This should be slapped and told: There is no evidence you have been slapped !!

lbn Ata' As-Sakandari  said, "O  Allah! How can they cite  what  needs  You  as  an  evidence  for  You?!  Is there anything more evident than You to be cited as an evidence for You?!  When  did  You cease  watching  the  world  that we  need  an evidence  for  Your  existence?!  And how far did you go that now we have to pursue Your traces to find You?!  How can He be veiled while He disclosed everything?!  How can He be veiled while He is evident anywhere?!  How  can  He  be  veiled   while  He  is  the  ever Evident  and the only One Who has no peer?! How can He be veiled while He is nearer to us than anything else?! How can He be veiled while we owe our existence to Him?

Once, an atheist teacher said to his disciples, "only what you see really exists.  They answered, 'yes.' You notice the tablet, the pen, the notebook and the chair?  All of them are visible and touchable, aren't they?' 'Yes,' They replied.  Then he said, do you see God?  They replied, no. hence, God doesn't exist. The students were perplexed, because they believed in the existence of Allah by heart. Meanwhile, Allah disclosed the falsehood of these teachers at the hands of one of his disciples. A student after having permission   asked, do you understand what the teacher has said, they said, yes.  Ok, do you see the teacher now?  Yes, they replied.  Does the teacher have a mind? 'Yes,' they answered. 'Do you see his mind?' They said, 'No,' he said, following the teacher method i.e., "Only what we see does exist." Our teacher has no mind because it is invisible.  Then, all students laughed and the teacher was amazed and never mentioned that again.

Can Allah create a stone that He can't lift?.
It's inconceivable that Allah would do that.
We ask all of these disbelievers: Can God create another god like Him? If they say yes, we say to them: How can this created being be a god if he is created? How can he be like God when he has a beginning, whereas God exists from eternity? In fact the phrase “creating a god” is a sophism or false argument, and is a contradiction in terms, because the mere fact that something is created means that it cannot be a god.

Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, was approached by some speculative theologians who intended to discuss with him the oneness of Allah’s Lordship. He said, “Before we discuss this question, tell me what you think about a boat in the Euphrates which goes to shore, loads itself with food and other things, then returns, anchors and unloads all by itself, without anyone sailing or controlling it?” They said, “This is impossible.” Abu Hanifa said:

If it is impossible with a boat, then how is it possible for the world, in all its vastness, to move by itself?

Once a desert Arab was asked about the evidence of Allah’s existence, so he responded:

Glory be to Allah! The camel’s dung testifies to the existence of the camel, and the track testifies to the fact that someone was walking. A sky that holds the stars, a land that has fairways and a sea that has waves? Does not all of this testify to the existence of the Most Kind, Most Knowledgeable?

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Re: Religon of peace
« on: March 04, 2018, 03:53:56 PM »
Assalam alaikum

Islam is the religion of peace for its followers and those enemies who resort to peace.
This whole site deals with this topics. Regarding the verses, see:Misquoting quran section
http://www.aboutjihad.com/

Have a look here too:
http://www.answering-christianity.com/islam_terrorism.htm
http://comparativreligion.blogspot.com/2012/02/islamic-terrorism.html

4- Apostasy is divided into two types: major and minor. Muslim scholars, using the Prophet’s traditions as their guide, have divided unbelief, idolatry, hypocrisy, and sin into major and minor categories. Likewise, there is a distinction between an apostate who intends to physically harm the community and an apostate who only spiritually harms himself.

Minor apostasy is when a person embraces Islam while knowing its virtues and later rejects it. There is no legal punishment for the minor apostate as long as they do not try to physically harm the Muslim community. Major apostasy is when a person embraces Islam while knowing its virtues and later rejects it and adds to this a call for violent rebellion against the Muslim authorities. Such a crime is equivalent to high treason and in its most severe case can carry the death penalty as an act of self-defense for the community.

Allah said:

Verily, those who believed and then disbelieved, then believed and then disbelieved and increased in disbelief, never will Allah forgive them nor will He guide them to a right way.

    Surah An-Nisa 4:137

In this verse, Allah describes a person who apostates from Islam twice and He does not prescribe legal punishment for him, but rather He only warns the apostate about severe punishment in the Hereafter. This demonstrates that the general rule is an apostate should be left alone, as the Quran prohibits compulsion in religion.

Allah said:

There is no compulsion in religion. The truth is distinct from misguidance.

    Surah Al-Baqarah 2:256

And He said:

Say: The truth is from your Lord. So whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve.

    Surah Al-Kahf 18:29

Because of this, the Prophet did not punish people simply because they rejected Islam.

Jabir reported: A bedouin came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and gave the pledge of allegiance for embracing Islam. The next day he came with a fever and said, “Please cancel my pledge.” The Prophet refused three times and he said:

    الْمَدِينَةُ كَالْكِيرِ تَنْفِي خَبَثَهَا، وَيَنْصَعُ طَيِّبُهَا

Medina is like a furnace. It expels its impurities and collects what is pure.

Source: Sahih Bukhari 1784, Grade: Sahih

In this example, a man rejected Islam after embracing it but the Prophet did not apply legal punishment to him.

Regarding the major apostasy, the Prophet was clear in advising us that legal punishment is not applied to a minor apostate, but only a major apostate.

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, applied legal punishment in the following case:

    وَالتَّارِكُ لِدِينِهِ الْمُفَارِقُ لِلْجَمَاعَةِ

The one who leaves his religion and separates from the community.

Source: Sahih Muslim 1676, Grade: Sahih

The reference to one who “separates from the community” (al-mufariq lil-jama’ah) indicates that a person is not legally punished simply for not practicing Islam, but rather for high treason against Muslim authorities. This is made even clearer in another narration in which the Prophet describes the major apostate as:

    رَجُلٌ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الإِسْلاَمِ يُحَارِبُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَرَسُولَهُ

A man who rejects Islam and wages war against Allah the Exalted and His Messenger.

    Source: Sunan An-Nasa’i 4048

Ibn Abbas said:

Whoever kills others, spreads corruption in the land, wages war against Allah and His Messenger, and he joins the unbelievers before he is subdued, then there is nothing to prevent the legal punishment from being applied to him because of what he did.

    Source: Sunan An-Nasa’i 4046

Indeed, some of the companions interpreted the phrase this way and described an apostate as:

    حَارَبَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

One who wages are against Allah and His Messenger.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 4334, Grade: Sahih

What can be understood from these narrations is that legal punishment is only applied to a person who combines apostasy with high treason. This is because the Quran prohibits compulsion in religion as a general rule and because the believers should be the most restrained of the people when it comes to taking life.

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

    أَعَفُّ النَّاسِ قِتْلَةً أَهْلُ الْإِيمَانِ

The most restrained of the people regarding killing are the people of faith.

Source: Musnad Ahmad 3720, Grade: Sahih

Furthermore, cases of major apostasy do not necessitate the death penalty if a single Muslim seeks protection for the apostate.

Ibn Abbas reported:

Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh would write to the Messenger of Allah but the devil deceived him and he joined the unbelievers. The Messenger of Allah ordered that he should be killed on the day of liberation, but Uthman ibn Affan sought protection for him, so the Messenger of Allah granted him protection.

Source: Sunan Abu Dawud 4358, Grade: Sahih

In this example, a man embraced Islam and then rejected it by joining the idolaters of Mecca who at the time were waging war against the Muslims. When Mecca surrendered to the Prophet without a fight, Uthman ibn Affan sought protection for this apostate and the Prophet honored this covenant. This is because, as a general rule, the protection granted by a single Muslim should be honored by all Muslims.

Ali ibn Abu Talib reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

    ذِمَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَاحِدَةٌ يَسْعَى بِهَا أَدْنَاهُمْ

The covenant of the Muslims is one covenant, and they strive to fulfill it among the least of them.

    Source: Sunan Al-Kubra Al-Bayhaqi 15464, Grade: Sahih

In conclusion, the death penalty for apostasy is restricted by the Prophet’s other statements and actions which make clear that this punishment applies only to those who commit high treason against the Muslim community.

Success comes from Allah, and Allah knows best.
