Brother Osama,
so i've read your rebuttal about shooting stars etc, and i just wanted to add this...The verse says "And verily We have beautified the world's heaven with LAMPS, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame."

so i'm sure that meteors, asteroids, comets etc can all be classified as lamps here. Thank you

Assalam alikum but meators don't come from stars it says we used them so this means that something from the star was used so this can either be gamma rays or cosmic rays or the fire from the stars or something from the stars we don't know yet jazzakkallah

It's not what i meant...i never said these missiles come from stars, i said these missiles (LAMPS) can be classified as meteors or comets since they also light up the sky

Ok I see but doesn't it have to be something that produces it's own lights meateors don't they get it when they hit the amostphere isn't that what the arabic word means or not jazzakkallah

Good point....so i guess i was wrong then.
Yeah it would make sense for the missiles to be the rays etc from the sun and not meteors and comets

Yea too me I believe it is more the fire flame from the stars then gamma rays or cosmic rays because you can't see that with the naked eye unless through a teliscope unless you can count the fire flame as gamma rays or cosmic rays etc because 15:18 a clear or bright or visible flame makes it sound like a flame we can see so we know it can't be meateors or commits because they don't come from stars or there fire so it has to be the flame frome the stars we can see like sun for example the flame from the sun etc or that verse just means something bright that we can't see through the naked eye unless through a telescope or its is something we don't know yet but allah knows what it is or it is something we can't see through the naked eye or telescope but it is something the jinns can only see what is something bright or visible to them that comes from stars that we don't no etc but allah knows what it is etc that is my opion view of it jazzakkallah
