because of a debate that she had with some Muslim clerics.

She is probably as ignorant and foolish (not meant to be offensive but it is true) as Ali Sina. She does not even deserve my time to refute her. However, the only reason that I am is because she is becoming too famous for her own good. I am writing this article to even make her more famous among the Muslim community. So that people can know how to reply back to ignorants such as Wafa Sultan.

Indeed what could provoke a person to do such a thing? Is it hate? Is the guy insane?

Maybe Wafa Sultan could tell us what provoked Baruch Goldstien to commit that horrible massacre against the Palestinians? Maybe Wafa Sultan could also tell us why he was honored for doing so…

My Response:

It is because of this quote that I emphasized on that I call Wafa Sultan a fool. She is saying that the interpretation of the verse and the context for when it is revealed is irrelevant! What kind of scholarship is that?  She does not even quote the verse in full. Here it is…

Surah 5:33

The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom;

So you can only do this to those who wage war against Islam and those who do corruption in the land. Not to any innocent person!

Surah 2:190

Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors.

Surah 60:8

"God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers.

Why doesn’t Wafa Sultan apply this same criteria to the Bible as well? Lets take a verse from the Bible out of context…

Matthew 10:34

Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

So according to Wafa Sultan’s logic, the interpretation and context of this verse is irrelevant! The Jesus of the Bible is a violent man!

This just goes to show how ridiculous Wafa Sultan is. Why doesn’t she go around condemning all the violent passages found in the Bible such as…

THE CAPTURE OF JERUSALEM.

However, Wafa Sultan does not have a problem with the Jewish portrayal of Gentiles in their scriptures (read here). As a matter of fact she is even more than happy to accept an invitation to Tel Aviv. Indeed, she is just a hypocrite whose agenda is to hurt Islam and she is just looking for fame.

Wafa Sultan also claims to be an atheist, what does she think about the Apostle Paul invoking a curse on people like her?

Wafa Sultan has a problem. She is judging Islam by its misguided followers. There are over 1.5 billion Muslims in the world. Why does she only focus on the few thousand that are misguided and does not talk about the 1, 499, 990, 000 that are peaceful? Should we also judge Christianity and Judaism by their misguided followers?

It seems like Wafa Sultan does not know history that well. She does not realize the fact that the Muslims invaded Spain in order to protect the people from their violent leaders who were oppressing them and the Muslims freed them from the oppression and allowed to practice their religion freely. The people of Spain even wanted the Muslims to conquer Spain and rule over them! Please read the following…

The Land and People of Spain. New York: Harper Collins Publishers, 1992) And so, the peace exhibited under Muslim rule did not continue after the last of the Muslim rulers was defeated in 1492.

This is contrary to the Christian treatment of the Muslims when they invaded them in Spain…

Isabella, in her fierce quest to eradicate Islam from Spain, issued forth decrees of mass conversions in her 'Holy War' ^** against the Muslims. Muslim prayers were forbidden and mosques in their original splendor were destroyed and converted into churches. (Hasan, Khola. The Crumbling Minarets of Spain. Saudi Arabia: Abul Qasim Publications, 1991) Muslims were converted to Christianity, who were usually insincere Christians fearing for their lives, but remained Muslim by heart. They too, called "Moriscos" were soon to be expelled, in 1605, because they weren't accepted as real Christians, and certainly weren't allowed to live as Muslims and embrace Islam openly. Thus, Muslims do not blame Judaism itself for injustices committed by Jews against Palestinians. Nor do they blame Christianity per se for the crimes committed by Church-sanctioned medieval Crusades; for atrocities committed during the conquest of Spain by Christian armies and the subsequent persecution and expulsion of Muslims; nor for the horrors of the Inquisition, the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre or any number of similar tragedies. So I decided to be a gentleman and kindly show Wafa Sultan the massacres after 1776…

• July 3, 1778 - Wyoming Valley Massacre - Occurred during the American Revolutionary War - although the great majority of those killed were in legitimate battle, a number of those that had surrendered were killed by natives allied to the Loyalist forces. For propaganda purposes, the entire battle was claimed as a massacre by rebels.
• August 31, 1778 - Stockbridge Indian Massacre - a battle of the American Revolutionary War that was claimed as a massacre by rebels for propoganda purposes.
• November 11, 1778 - Cherry Valley Massacre, New York - over 30 settlers killed.
• March 8th, 1782 - Gnadenhutten massacre - in the final stages of the American Revolutionary War, nearly 100 noncombatant Christian Delaware (Lenape) Indians (mostly women and children) are killed one at a time (with a hammer blow to the head) by Pennsylvania militiamen.
• January 22nd, 1813 - River Raisin Massacre - 30-60 Kentucky militia killed after surrendering.
• August 30, 1813 - Fort Mims Massacre - A band of Red Sticks, one of several warring factions of the Creek Nation (see Creek Civil War), retaliates for his defeat at the Battle of Burnt Corn by sacking a militia post at Fort Mims, Alabama. Over four hundred civilians were killed by the Indians, taking some 250 scalps. This action precipitated the Creek War.
• Spring 1817 - Battle of Claremore Mound - Cherokee Indians wiped out Chief Clermont's band of Osage Indians at Claremore Mound, Indian Territory.
• April 22, 1818 - Chehaw Affair - United States troops attack a non-hostile village during First Seminole War, killing an estimated ten to fifty men, women, and children.
• May 20, 1832 - Indian Creek Massacre - American Indians, mainly Potawatomi, killed fifteen men, women and children and kidnapped two girls.
• August 1-2 1832 - Black Hawk War - about 300 men, women, and children are slaughtered at the Battle of Bad Axe, in Wisconsin by white soldiers.
• Spring 1833 - Cutthroat Gap Massacre - Osage Indians wiped out the Kiowa village of Chief Islandman in Indian Territory.
• May 19th, 1836 - Fort Parker Massacre - 6 men killed by a mixed group of Native Americans in Limestone County, Texas
• October 5, 1838 - Killough Massacre - 18 members of the Killough extended family, one of the last massacres in Texas
• November 29th 1847 - Whitman massacre in Walla Walla, Washington
• August 17th 1854 - Kaibai Creek, California - 42 Winnemem Wintu men, women, and children are killed by white settlers
• August 17th 1855 - Grattan Massacre, Brule Sioux in Nebraska Territory.
• February 26, 1860 - Indian Island Massacre in Humboldt County, California - upwards of 100 Wiyot are slaughtered by white settlers armed with hatchets and bowie knives. The victims were mostly women and children as most of the Wiyot men had returned to town for supplies. [1] The island assault was one of three simultanious assaults on the Wiyot tribe that night.
• August-September, 1862 - As many as 800 settlers killed in uprising of Santee Sioux.
• October 24, 1862 - Tonkawa Massacre - A detachment of American Indian irregular Union forces (mainly Kickapoo, Delaware and Shawnee), with their Caddo allies, attempted to destroy the Tonkawa tribe in Indian Territory. Of the 390 Tonkawas, only 150 survived.
• January 29, 1863 - Bear River Massacre - upwards of 200 men, women, and children are slaughtered by whites near Preston, Idaho.
• April 19, 1863 - Keyesville Massacre - in Kern County, California - 35 Tehachapi men are killed by whites [2]
• November 29, 1864 - Sand Creek Massacre - Sand Creek, Colorado - upwards of 160 Cheyenne men, women, and children are slaughtered by militiamen
• December 21, 1866 - The Fetterman Massacre- near Fort Phil Kearny, Wyoming - Lt. Col. William J. Fetterman and a compliment of 79 US soldiers of U.S. 18th Infantry Regiment and 2 civilians-were sent to relieve a train under attack by Oglala Sioux led by Crazy Horse and they were wiped out by an ambush. (Evidence suggests that, like Custer's Last Stand [see below], this should be more fairly considered a battle than a massacre.) See Red Cloud's War.
• July 2, 1867- Kidder Massacre-near Beaver Creek Sherman County, Kansas. 2nd Lt Kidder; a Sgt; a Corporal; 8 privates of "M" Company 2nd US Cavalry {2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment} and a Indian Guide were killed by Cheyenne & Sioux Indians. Called a "massacre", it was a battle such as the Fetterman ambush was labeled a "Massacre". [3].
• January 23, 1870 - Marias Massacre - 173 Piegans, mainly elderly, women, and children, slaughtered by whites
• June 25, 1876 - Battle of the Little Big Horn - About two hundred fifty men of the US 7th Cavalry Regiment, under Lt. Col. George A. Custer, are wiped out in a battle against Sioux and Northern Cheyenne Indians. (Though widely considered a "massacre", Custer's men died fighting and in any case initiated the battle by attacking a nearby Sioux village.)
• January 8th, 1879-Fort Robinson Montana - Northern Cheyenne under Dull Knife escape from confinment-about 50 survive.
• December 29, 1890 - Wounded Knee Massacre - Wounded Knee, South Dakota - up to 300 Sioux men, women, and children are killed by US soldiers.

So yes America is not perfect and was responsible for these massacres. Does that give us a right to go and condemn all Americans as being savages just like how you hypocritically judge all Muslims based on the actions of the misguided people?

I have already shown the chaos that the Jews have caused the Arabs since they invaded Palestine. They left their holocaust and now they are starting one against the Arabs. So what if the Jews have contributed to the world, does that mean they have a right to go and kill innocent people? What else have they invented recently? What else has America invented recently? I know, they invented nuclear weapons and more weapons of mass destruction used to kill people. This is what they have invented.

The Muslims played a principal role in the history of Spain. Their presence illuminated the Iberian Peninsula while the rest of Europe was engulfed in darkness. And so, Andalusia produced a great civilization far ahead and advanced than the rest of Europe. Under their rule, Muslims made Spain a center for learning and knowledge. The Muslims were taught reading, writing, math, Arabic, Qur'an, and Hadith (Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH), and became leaders in math, science, medicine, astronomy, navigation, etc. Al-Andalus became renowned for its prosperity as people who quested for knowledge journeyed from afar to learn in its universities under the feet of the Muslims. As a result, Andalus gave rise to a great many intellectual giants. Muslim Spain produced philosophers, physicians, scientists, judges, artists, and the like. Ibn Rushd, (Averroes) Ibn Sina, (Avicenna) Ibn Zuhr, (Avenzoar), Al-Kwarizmi, (Algorizm) and Al-Razi, (Razes) to name a few, were all Muslims educated in Andalus. ¹⁴ Martin Luther, the founder of Protestantism, was also educated in Andalusia. It is from the Andalusian philosophers, Ibn Rushd, and Ibn Sina that great renowned Christian men like St. Thomas Aquinas borrowed their philosophies. Both St. Thomas Aquinas and Dante called Ibn Rushd or "Averroes" the "The Commentator" and incorporated the views of Muslims. Through the works of Aristotle, Ibn Rushd reconciled reason with religion. However, Aquinas attempted to refute Ibn Rushd's ideas because they placed a great deal of emphasis on human reason over faith, which were a "threat" to Christian beliefs. ¹⁵ Interestingly enough, Thomas Aquinas described Arabs as "brutal men dwelling in the desert." Dante himself was familiar with Muslim figures. It is reported by countless historians, including William Phipps, in his book, Muhammad and Jesus: A Comparison of the Prophets and their Teachings, that the theme of Divine Comedy was inspired by the mi'raj or ascension of the Prophet (PBUH) into heaven from upon the rock which today sits below the dome of Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem. ¹⁶ Roger Bacon, another individual who refrained from describing Arabs and Muslims in kind words, consulted Ibn Sina's (Avicenna) work. Ibn Sina's work, Al-Qanun, (Canon) the widely studied medical work was used in European Universities for over 300 years, and formed half the medical curriculum. ¹⁷ In any case, the list of contributions from the Andalusian Muslims is endless.

The Islamic civilization had reached its peak in the 10^th century, and by 1100, the number of Muslims rose to 5.6 million. ¹⁸ There existed in Cordoba alone, 200,000 houses, 600 mosques, 900 public baths, 10,000 lamps, 50 hospitals, lighted and paved streets. Muslims introduced public baths because of their need to to wash in preparation for prayer 5x a day. Libraries and research institutions grew rapidly in Muslim Spain, while the rest of Europe remained illiterate.

In Muslim Spain, knowledge from Greece and Rome was preserved. Arab scholars produced encyclopedias on medicine and astronomy in 11^th century, also including astrology, psychology, zoology, biology, botany, chemistry, physics, mathematics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, etc., which Christian scholars acquired and translated. Toledo thrived essentially because of its Muslim rule, and became the "cradle of learning," and the chief point of interaction between the Muslims, Christians and Jews. Western scholars traveled to Spain and Sicily to learn Arabic and to make transcripts of texts in Latin. Muslims produced cotton, paper, salt, silk, satin, pepper, stamps, clocks, soaps, rulers, maps, globes, furs, velvets, described over 200 surgical instruments, and named over 200 stars with Arabic names. Hence, it was this Islamic civilization in Spain that was the main threshold behind the European Renaissance. During the time the Muslims set foot in Spain in 711 until 1084 (a year before Toledo was taken) Muslim Spain had become an area unique to the entire world.

The Muslim artisans applied their remarkable skills to architecture in making mosques (masajid) and palaces. The Muslims mastered technique and design. The Alhambra Palace, and The Great Mosque of Cordoba, are just two of the famous magnificent architectural masterpieces of the Muslims which can still be seen today. Of the Alhambra, it is called, "a utopia, the brightest memory of a lost golden age of pleasure, poetry, tolerance, art, and learning." ¹⁹ One Muslim poet wrote:

"A sun dwells in this place and even its shadow is blessed.
In this palace a multitude of pleasures capture the eye and suspend the intellect.
Here a crystal world teaches marvels.
Everywhere Beauty is carved, opulence is manifest."

The Islamic architecture in Spain is elaborate and decorative with intricate designs. Stone, and stucco, plaster for coating exterior walls, were widely favored. Later, brick replaced stone. ²⁰ The "Mezquita" or The Great Mosque of Cordoba and the Alhambra of Granada are two Islamic monuments that utilize this design. There are, however, not many examples of Islamic architecture remaining today in Spain because many were destroyed or converted from mosques to churches when Muslims were later exterminated (officially) in the year 1492 and beyond. The Alhambra is the only palace left nearly intact and preserved of all the Muslim masterpieces in Spain. ²¹

Narrated by Ibn Abbas (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Whoever creates a living image in this world (i.e, human, animal) will be charged with putting a soul in it which he will never be able to do."

Muslim artists were prohibited from making images of living things so that they could concentrate on the oneness of God. Paintings of inanimate objects, trees and flowers were permitted. Islamic ideology teaches that the making of images can lead to idolatry. It can also lead to praising of one's own work, which does away with humility and humbleness, important virtues stressed in Islam. Inevitably, it leads to one's neglect of the remembrance of Allah, and one's neglect of the fact that it was Allah who gave the artist the talent from birth. It is also rivaling with Allah Himself who is the sole creator of the Universe and its inhabitants. Though many of Muslims therefore abstained from painting figures of people and animals, Islamic art was far from lacking beauty. Muslim scribes in Spain developed calligraphy into art form. Islamic art is known for its repetitious patterns, a constant reminder of the uniqueness of God. ²² Calligraphical, floral, arabesque, and geometric designs flourished in the Muslim world.

Conclusion

In conclusion Wafa Sultan holds no water in her arguments against Islam. Every herd has its bad sheep. She cannot go around judging Islam based on its bad sheep. Because then we would have to judge all religions this way then. She has an agenda; her agenda is to discredit Islam at all costs. WAFA SULTAN IS A NO BODY WHO DOES NOT DESERVE ANY ATTENTION!!

Did Isaiah 53 really prophesies about the crucifixion of Jesus? It supports Islam's claims about Jesus peace be upon him never died on the cross.  I also addressed John 19:36-37 from the Bible and proved that Jesus never got crucified, since GOD Almighty promised that he will protect Jesus' body and not let even a single bone be broken.    My question to all Christians is: How in the world is it possible for the feet to get nailed on the cross without any penetration to the bones by the nails, hence breaking part of the feet's bones?! I also added refutations to Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12, Zechariah 12:10 and Psalm 34:20, which supposedly prove the Christians' belief about Jesus crucifixion.  I proved that this dogma has no truth what so ever and exposed the wrong Trinitarian English translation of Zechariah 12:10.
