Sam Shamoun erroneously assumes that just because Imam Nawawi was saying the rules of washing regarding those who do homosexual acts and other perverted actions then that means that Imam Nawawi did not condemn them. Its like me saying, "if you stole something from somebody then return it back" I am not saying that stealing is good but just saying that if someone did not get caught stealing then he should return what he stole. Having sex with those who haven't reached puberty, sodomy etc. is all prohibited in Islam. But that does not mean that people don't do it and Imam Nawawi was simply stating the rules on washing for it.
Just because there might be no punishment for those who commit bestiality (even though the consensus today is that the person should be killed) that does not mean that it is not forbidden. There are authentic Hadith which show that God curses those who commit bestiality...

It must be kept in mind that Al-Albani is a muhaddith, a scholar in Hadith, and would know the weak narrations from the strong ones....
To appreciate the weight of Al-Albani, note that he was (1) the teacher of Hadith at Medina University from AH 1381 to 1384 [AD 1961-65], (2) chosen by King Khaled Al Saud to be a member of the Grand Council of the Islamic university of Medina AH 1395 [AD 1975], and (3) the winner of the King Faisal Award for the best Islamic scholar (person, character) of the year AH 1419 [AD 1998]. Though he is a somewhat controversial person, many Sunni Muslims consider him to have been the highst authority of Hadith in modern times.
So if God would curse some one who does bestiality then obviously bestiality is a sin.
Sam Shamoun tries to use Surah 42:11 to show that the Quran permits Muslims to have sex with animals. Here is the verse...
Surah 42:11
(He is) the Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does He multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all things).
Sam added his own little translation...
The Originator of the heavens and the earth; He made mates (azwajan) for you from among yourselves, and mates (azwajan) of the cattle too, multiplying you thereby; nothing like a likeness of Him; and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
So we will use that. The verse does not show that we can marry animals or have sex with them.
When God said "He has made for you pairs from among yourselves" Many believe "yourselves" is referring to men because Eve was created from the rib of Adam (Surah 7:189). Therefore, in some way women came from men. (Tafsir of Jalalayn, Tafsir of Tabari and Tafsir of Qurtubi)
Also all the commentaries are in agreement that God is talking separately about creating pairs for the cattle and its not saying that men can have spouses from the cattle. There are a range of animals that qualify under the category of cattle and God is talking about how he created them in pairs.
God multiplies us through this because he creates generation after generations males and females of us human beings and we feed on the cattle for food. (Tafsir of Qurtubi and Tafsir of Tabari) or simply means that God is multiplying us both, humans and cattle by creating generations and generations of us (Tafsir of Jalalayn) and God knows best.
The verse in no way shows that we can marry animals or have sex with them.
Sam Shamoun and his buddy Christian prince also try to use the phrase "right hands possess" from the Quran to show that Muslims can have sex with anything that they own. We can own animals, therefore we can have sex with them. This is their line of thinking.
However, all the widely respected and widely recognized classical scholars and modern scholars are in agreement that "right hands possess" refers to slave girls only. You won't find one that says having sex with animals is okay. So I can't even give Shamoun the honor of even going deeper into refuting this argument by showing commentaries and other evidence. Yes 'right hands possess' could mean everything someone owns in one context. It could have a general meaning in one verse and in another verse a specific meaning. The Prophet could then have told his soldiers to relieve themselves with their animals if it was allowed. Plus there is evidence that bestiality is not allowed like I showed above and God would not intend the meaning of the "right hands possess" statement to include everything and only that part, which is allowed in those intended verses.
Lets look at the punishment of bestiality in the Bible...

"IF A MAN has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal. (From the NIV Bible, Leviticus 20:15)"
"IF A WOMAN approaches an animal to have sexual relations with it, kill both the woman and the animal. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. (From the NIV Bible, Leviticus 20:16)"
Notice in the above two verses that the man has to get caught having sex with an animal in order for him to be put to death, while the woman does not necessarily have to get caught having sex with an animal. If she only looks suspicious then she would still be put to death, while the man has to be caught doing it.
