Quran's STUNNING Divine Miracles: [1]

Allah Almighty also promised in several Divine Prophecies that He will show the Glorious Quran's Miracles to mankind:

1-  The root letters for "message" and all of its derivatives occur 513 times throughout the Glorious Quran.  Yet, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone, the Prophets' and Messengers' actual names (Muhammad, Moses, Noah, Abraham, Lot etc....) were also all mentioned 513 times in the Glorious Quran.  The detailed breakdown of all of this is thoroughly listed here.  This Miracle is covered in 100s (hundreds) of Noble Verses.

2-  Allah Almighty said that Prophet Noah lived for 950 years.  Yet, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone, the entire Noble Surah (chapter Noah) is exactly written in 950 Letters.  You can thoroughly see the accurate count in the scanned images.

Coincidence?  See 1,000s of examples [1].  Quran's Stunning Numerical & Scientific Miracles.

Islam also thoroughly rejects as man-made lies the Trinity and Crucifixion [2].  Jesus was also thoroughly called
slave of GOD [1] in both the OT and NT.

The Real Exegesis (Commentary) of Corrupted Bibles Galatians 1:6-9

                                                 By: Anonymous Muslim

A few years back I wrote an article responding to some of the ridiculous claims and pure asinine conjecture of some wrongdoing Christian missionaries regarding a section of one of the letters attributed to Paul of Tarsus in their corrupted New Testament Bibles: that is Galatians 1:6-9 http://answering-christianity.com/anonymous-muslim/paul_the_liar_ac.htm

Let us read Galatians 1:6-9 itself.

Galatians 1:6-9 6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! (NIV Bible Version)

The Christian missionary love to point to Galatians 1:8-9 in particular; again Galatians 1:8-9 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! (NIV)

Of course they use Paul’s hyperbolic statement (on hyperbole: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/hyperboleobvious and intentional exaggeration.”) about Galatians 1:8- “if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse” to try to argue against Muslims.  Obviously to start with we don’t care what Paul had to say about anything because he is a confirmed liar that we reject: plenty of info showing that here under “Exposing Paul’s Lies” https://www.answering-christianity.com/contra.htm.  But it is necessary to respond to one asinine claim and pure conjecture made by these Christian missionaries with their anti-Islam blinders on; that conjecture is the ASININE claim that Galatians 1:6-9 is allegedly the liar Paul “predicting” that Islam would come in the future.  The far right wing Evangelical Christian missionaries also often use Galatians 1:6-9 to try say Paul was “predicting” Joseph Smith and Mormonism in the future as well!  Basically they just take Paul’s hyperbolic statements and run with them and try to use them against all who oppose their pagan Trinitarian nonsense.  This paper will, insha’Allah, thoroughly refute this pathetic argument and show the true context of Galatians 1:6-9 and how real academics and scholars interpret this section of the Bible and what Paul was speaking about (obviously in his/that historical setting and historical context, i.e. it was no alleged “prophecies” of anything as again some hatemongering Evangelical Christians try to falsely claim in their lunatic conjecture).

First simply read from the renowned IVP Bible Commentary on the New Testament: http://www.amazon.com/IVP-Bible-Background-Commentary-Testament/dp/0830814051

http://books.google.com/books?id=cnAAOuN2_JIC&pg=PA577&lpg=PA577&dq=the+life+of+Adam+and+Eve+jewish+mysticism+galatians+1+angels&source=bl&ots=7qqvjJPzCp&sig=Mj5eRzUgYItG9ba0lv7mjg7oHMg&hl=en&sa=X&ei=nnEnT-KdEuTe2AWV2ITEAg&ved=0CD0Q6AEwBTge#v=onepage&q=galatians&f=false

On Galatians 1:8-9 the IVP Bible Commentary states;

Some Jewish mystics of the period claimed revelations from angels (especially in *apocalyptic literature). Oaths and curses were familiar in ancient religion, magic, and everyday life.”

We also later read in the IVP Bible’s Commentary on Paul’s letter to the Colossians; Colossians 2:18 which in the Bible itself reads. “Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind.” (Colossians 2:18, NIV Bible)

http://books.google.com/books?id=cnAAOuN2_JIC&pg=PA577&lpg=PA577&dq=the+life+of+Adam+and+Eve+jewish+mysticism+galatians+1+angels&source=bl&ots=7qqvjJPzCp&sig=Mj5eRzUgYItG9ba0lv7mjg7oHMg&hl=en&sa=X&ei=nnEnT-KdEuTe2AWV2ITEAg&ved=0CD0Q6AEwBTge#v=onepage&q=Colossians%202%3A18&f=false

Again on the IVP Bible Commentary says in its’ Christian scholarly interpretation of Colossians 2:18 (relating it back to Galatians 1:8-9 as well):

Jewish mystics and apocalypists sometimes claimed communications from angels (Gal. 1:8; in a positive vein, Acts 27:23; Rev. 1:1). … some evidence indicates that many common Diaspora Jews addressed prayers and petitions to angels, a practice that overlapped with magical spirit invocations. (Some Jewish literature, especially the Dead Sea Scrolls but also other texts, spoke of the earthly community entering into worship of the heavenly community and some scholars think Paul attacks that idea here)”

So we get a clear historical context here right from the main writers of scholarly Biblical commentary, this by itself is enough to shut the mouths of foolish, conjecturing Christian missionary nutcases, liars, and propagandists!  But let us go further, of course we know that Paul’s “letter to the Galatians” itself is of course set in a specific historical context!  Scholars, academics, and historians who specialize on the topic of the Pauline letters (and historians generally) tell us that Paul’s “letter to the Galatians” shows an obviously a very upset Paul mostly writing to SCOLD the Galatian people (i.e. the people of Galatia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galatia which is now modern day Turkey, so what historians often term Anatolia), because the Galatian “church” that had earlier apparently fallen under Paul’s trance and lying teachings (again for a complete refutation of Paul’s lies simply see the “Exposing Paul’s Lies” detailed section at this link: https://www.answering-christianity.com/contra.htm) well these Galatians had accepted new preachers and these were what is term “Judaizers” or teachers that were saying to truly follow Prophet Jesus PBUH one had to continue observing the Mosaic Law (i.e. the Old Testament laws about not eating pork, etc) simple Wikipedia link on what has come to be known today as “Judaizers” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judaizers.

Most historians tell us it was “Judaizers” that were preaching to the Galatians (the people Paul refers to specifically in Galatians 1:6-7 that Paul says are “misguiding” the Galatians) and taking them away from Paul’s false teachings, the “Judaizers” are those who again said one still had to follow the Mosaic law (which interestingly enough even the Christian’s own New Testament clearly has Jesus PBUH saying to follow see Matthew 5:17-20 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%205:17-20&version=NIV i.e. the LAW, that is again the Mosaic Law i.e. not eating pork, etc. can never go away and the one who teaches someone to break even the least of the laws is condemned by what the Christians themselves again have Jesus PBUH saying Matthew 5:17-20).  Also the “Judaizers” very interestingly go into other groups like the Nazarenes and Ebionites who many scholars and we Muslims believe were likely the closest to the true followers of Prophet Isa ibn Mariam PBUH.  The Ebionites for example rejected Paul, viewed Jesus PBUH as merely a human Prophet, and continued to observe the LAW!  We of course clearly see Paul’s anger at the Galatians turning to the “Judaizers” in Galatians 1:6-7 again- 6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. (Galatians 1:6-7, NIV Bible)

It gets even clearer when we see in Galatians Ch. 2, Paul even condemning Peter (one of the closest people to Prophet Jesus PBUH, who unlike Paul actually knew, lived with, ate beside, and learned directly at the feet of Prophet Jesus PBUH. Unlike Paul with his fake, always changing alleged “visions” of Jesus PBUH detailed here: https://www.answering-christianity.com/muslim1/problem_of_paul.htm).

Galatians 2:11- But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. (KJV Bible)

Now back to Galatians 1:8-9 in particular to give a further thrashing and total refutation of the made-up conjecture nonsense of some hateful Christian “Evangelical” missionary clowns.  Let me post some more quotes on the historical context of these verses (Galatians 1:6-9 and obviously verses 8-9 in particular) scholars tell us some very interesting info specifically about hyperbole, angelology, and much more.

Next let us read from the book:

St. Paul’s Opponents and Their Background: A Study of Apocalyptic and Jewish Sectarian Teachings” by scholar and author John J. Gunther

The book for purchase online: http://www.amazon.com/St-Pauls-Opponents-Their-Backgrounds/dp/B00346EIS2

http://books.google.com/books?id=NM43AAAAIAAJ&pg=PA271&lpg=PA271&dq=Paul+notes+a+local+readiness+to+receive+angels+and+their+teachings+%281:8,+4:14%29+credentials&source=bl&ots=CvPfRtnlIN&sig=3HB9wm9_tgCRQ1Lthu4kJJGiIQE&hl=en&sa=X&ei=uussT4OYI4argwekuojKDw&ved=0CCEQ6AEwAA#v=snippet&q=1%3A8&f=false

Quote- Apocalyptic, Mystic Gnosticism

“In Galatians Paul notes a local readiness to receive angels and their teachings (Galatians 1:8, 4:14) and insists that his gospel was received from a revelation of Jesus Christ, rather than from men (1:1, 11-12, 16; 2:2; cf. 3:23).  Since Paul was trying to establish his credentials, his references to private and angelic revelations indicate that they were esteemed among his readers.  Many of them were pneumatics (3:2-5; 5:25-6:1).”

end quote.

So this scholar John J. Gunther mentions that Paul was trying to tap into what the Galatians existing belief system was already at that time (i.e. again a writing in the historical context and setting).  I received a very similar answer and scholarly quotation from Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad (of Britain) when I contacted this very well known scholar of Islam and inter-faith issues http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_Winter

Here I quote a portion of the response given to me via email by Shaykh Abdal Hakim

Much of what Paul says is hard to understand and ambiguous. And he is clearly here having a go at a rival 'gospel', and the Qur'an cannot really be described as a 'gospel'.

I see that Elaine Pagels regards this verse as referring to the Galatians' following of other disciples, who had only a 'psychic' and not 'pneumatic' knowledge. See her book The Gnostic Paul (Trinity Press, 1995), 102.”

Elaine Pagels book and analysis of Paul is quite interesting if one is interested (as it is a more separate topic I will only just post the basic Wikipedia link here) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gnostic_Paul

Moving on let me quote again from the academic work “St. Paul’s Opponents and Their Background: A Study of Apocalyptic and Jewish Sectarian Teachings” again by scholar and author John J. Gunther.

http://books.google.com/books?id=NM43AAAAIAAJ&pg=PA271&lpg=PA271&dq=Paul+notes+a+local+readiness+to+receive+angels+and+their+teachings+%281:8,+4:14%29+credentials&source=bl&ots=CvPfRtnlIN&sig=3HB9wm9_tgCRQ1Lthu4kJJGiIQE&hl=en&sa=X&ei=uussT4OYI4argwekuojKDw&ved=0CCEQ6AEwAA#v=snippet&q=1%3A8&f=false

Quote- Angelology

“Paul recalled that the Galatians had received him ‘as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus,’ when he preached the gospel for the first time.  Yet he warned that if ‘an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary that which we preached to you, let him be accursed’ (1:8).  Evidently the readers were concerned about fresh revelations (e.g. interpretations of the Torah) from angels, or, at least they were receptive to them.”

end quote.

Galatians 4:14 is mentioned- and even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. (Galatians 4:14, NIV Bible)

On Angelology in Judaism and Christianity, since it comes up in the next scholarly quote I will gives as well http://jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/1521-angelology

Again from “St. Paul’s Opponents and Their Background: A Study of Apocalyptic and Jewish Sectarian Teachings” by John J. Gunther

http://books.google.com/books?id=NM43AAAAIAAJ&pg=PA271&lpg=PA271&dq=Paul+notes+a+local+readiness+to+receive+angels+and+their+teachings+%281:8,+4:14%29+credentials&source=bl&ots=CvPfRtnlIN&sig=3HB9wm9_tgCRQ1Lthu4kJJGiIQE&hl=en&sa=X&ei=uussT4OYI4argwekuojKDw&ved=0CCEQ6AEwAA#v=snippet&q=1%3A8&f=false

Quote- “They honored the role of ‘slave of Christ’ (1:10) without granting the title to Paul.  The misled Galatians apparently did not doubt the existence, or at least the possibility, of private revelations of Christ (1:12, 16); but, again, Paul’s claims were being questioned.  Now if Jesus were seen as a lawgiver, like the angels through Moses (3:19-20), and if an angel could preach ‘a gospel’ (1:8-9), the Judaizers’ Christology must have been related to their angelology. In this light we are to understand the curious recollection: ‘you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus’ (4:14).  The Messiah at least functioned like an angel.”

end quote.

So this scholar Gunther is saying that Galatians 1:6-9 is to be seen in the background of Judaizers preaching to (and in Paul’s mind trying to “led astray”) the Galatians and that these Judaizers’ “Christology” (meaning their understanding of Christ, a hotly debated topic in Christian theological history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christology) was related to their angelology.  This is no surprise as Judaizers are again a term used now by Pauline Christians (the dominate form of Christianity today after it was adopted by the pagan Roman Empire and particularly the Emperor Constantine I, see the infamous Council of Nicaea in 325 CE, etc) to refer to what were often termed the early Jewish Christians (to whom angelology was important, see the Jewish traditions of the Merkabah for just one example of Judaism and angels and angelology: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkabah and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angels_in_Judaism: among these groups we can cite the Nazarenes and the Ebionites, both of these groups of Monotheists held that Jesus PBUH was not divine and that he was only a human Messiah and that one was to continue following the Mosaic law (the “Old Testament” Law of Moses PBUH). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebionites

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebionites#Jesus

“The majority of Church Fathers agree that the Ebionites rejected many of the precepts central to Nicene orthodoxy, such as his pre-existence, divinity, virgin birth, atoning death, and physical resurrection.”[5]

Source- Klijn, AFJ; Reinink, GJ (1973). Patristic Evidence for Jewish-Christian Sects. Brill.

And on the Nazarenes as this is a huge topic in and of itself I recommend this website (although from an atheist) as it is sourced well on this topic: http://www.rejectionofpascalswager.net/paulorigin.html and of course this websites own section: https://www.answering-christianity.com/contra.htm (Again Exposing Paul’s Lies).  To just give one quick statement the true followers of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) were clearly Peter and James and the Nazarenes, the “Jerusalem Church”, and in some ways likely the Ebionites; who we know the liar Paul opposed and what we have today as the supposed “New Testament” is all later corrupted stuff written not by Prophet Jesus PBUH’s real followers but by Pauline Gentiles that were supporting their own deviant Pauline positions i.e. Pauline “Christianity” https://www.answering-christianity.com/authors_gospels.htm

Yet some of this even sneaks through even in the corrupted “New Testament” as it exists today we see again in Galatians 2:11 Paul saying But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.” (Galatians 2:11, KJV). Everything written after this was controlled by the Pauline Christians, who oppressed and snuffed out the actual people who can be called closest to the followers of Jesus PBUH and his true companions (like Peter and James) like the Nazarenes and Ebionites, and thus was written as Pauline propaganda trying to make the liar Paul seem like that he didn’t just even allegedly “fit in” with people like Peter and James (which didn’t happen to start as Paul was a rejected liar by the true followers of Prophet Jesus PBUH as the evidence of groups like the Ebionites shows even today) but the Pauline’s try to have Paul emerge as the supposed “chief Apostle” and even allegedly greater than Peter and James who had (unlike Paul of Tarsus) know and lived with Prophet Jesus PBUH!  This is the whole context of the later book the “Acts of the Apostles” in the Christian’s corrupted New Testament written by someone who was a clear follower of Pauline theology not Jewish “Christian” theology like again the Nazarenes or Ebionites.

And not to go too far off topic but let us simply read the conclusion of this website citing scholarly sources to refute Pauline Christian lies. http://www.rejectionofpascalswager.net/paulorigin.html

Quote- “Conclusions

What are our conclusions here? That:

  • Jesus did not talk about the atonement and that this innovation came from Paul of Tarsus. It is to Paul that Christianity should trace its roots. The origins of Christianity as we know it came, not from Jesus, but from Paul.
  • The leadership and importance of James, brother of Jesus, was suppressed by the developing Gentile Church but it is through James that we would most likely be able to trace the original teachings of the earthly Jesus.
  • The original followers, the successor to James and the apostles of Jesus (whether they number twelve or not), were the Jewish Christians (called Nazarenes and Ebionites), who never preached of a heavenly divine Jesus. They fought Pauline Christianity to the end of their days.

Okay coming back to my main point let us quickly read some more scholarly quotes on the issue of Galatians 1:8-9 again saying: 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! (Galatians 1:8-9, NIV Bible) as we saw above the historical context of hyperbole and angelology is the true setting of this claim by the pagan liar Paul.

Paul again makes many mentions of “angels” in his “New Testament” letters (note on a side note some people do not even believe a specific person named Paul of Tarsus even really existed or wrote the “Pauline” Epistles to start with: http://www../library/historical/marshall_gauvin/did_jesus_really_live.html “The very existence of Paul is questionable”). But let us read from the corrupted “New Testament” some more:

Galatians 3:19-20 19 Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. 20 A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one. (NIV)

As discussed earlier Paul claimed the law (that is the Mosaic law) was given in the Old Testament to Prophet Moses PBUH via angels and that this supposedly made it “inferior”! Note Paul also says a few verses before these in this same chapter of the letter to the Galatians (Ch. 3) that not only was the law itself supposedly a “curse” but that Jesus PBUH allegedly had to become a “curse” for us to supposedly “save us from the curse of the law”! Galatians 3:13- Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” (Galatians 3:13, NIV).

We also read Paul saying in Galatians 4:14- and even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. (NIV) Again above the scholar Gunther notes that this (Galatians 4:14) explains well the historical context of why Paul would bring up angels in Galatians 1:8-9 in reference to the Judaizer opponents Paul is writing against in this letter of his (Galatians 1:6, Paul is ticked off at the Galatians for listening to other teachers again the “Judaizers”) “the Judaizers’ Christology must have been related to their angelology. In this light we are to understand the curious recollection: ‘you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus’ (4:14).

More from the corrupted New Testament

1 Corinthians 6:3- Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! (NIV)

Colossians 2:18- Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. (NIV)

Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NIV)

Hebrews Chapter 1: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews%201&version=NIV (which has such section titles as “The Son Superior to Angels”, etc)

and again

Galatians 3:19-20 19 Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. 20 A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one. (NIV)

Galatians 4:14- and even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. (NIV)

Scholars also write in relations to Galatians 1:8-9;

From a .edu link that brings up “Judaizer” mysticism, that explains the historical context of Paul’s debates with his “Judaizing” opponents in the “letter to the Galatians”.

http://faculty.gordon.edu/hu/bi/Ted_Hildebrandt/NTeSources/NTArticles/BSac-NT/House-ColossiansPt1-BS.pdf

Quote- “Merkabah Mysticism

Certain mystic elements definitely existed in Judaism, as is evident from the letter to the Galatians.  The source of these mystic elements, Bruce suggests, was Judaistic sects, not Greek or Iranian influences, though he is quick to recognize  the syncretistic element of all the above mentioned sects as being pertinent to the heresy at hand in Colosse. While affirming Lightfoot's scholarship on the Essene/Qumran community, Bruce feels the Jewish mysticism present at Colosse is too broad to be labeled Essene or Qumran, but that it falls into what may be called ‘Jewish nonconformity,’ a term used for labeling some radical Jewish tendencies that were scattered afar. 20”

end quote.

The scholar Gunther quoted above has another interesting quote;

“While there is no polemic against angels or angel worship, the fact that they were chosen as the first standard of comparison with the ‘Son’ does indicate that the readers were interested in angelology, and that they were receptive to the comparison of Jesus with angels.

Also since I’m refuting the claims of those evildoing kuffar so-called “Christian” missionaries, I think I will also post what even another “conservative” Christian group says about the verses in question (Galatians 1:8-9)

http://www.bibletools.org/index.cfm/fuseaction/Topical.show/RTD/cgg/ID/1626/Weak-Beggarly-Elements.htm

“Because of the belief that the spirit of a person was trying to get back to heaven, worship of angels and astrology was a common tenet of Gnosticism, since angels and the patterns of stars and planets were believed to hold keys to this spiritual journey. Contrary to popular assumption, Paul does not condemn God's law in Galatians but a corrupt system that was severely affecting the church. That Gnostic system happened to include an emphasis on the Old Covenant”

Moving on yet more scholarly quotes for you to read here from the work simply entitled “Galatians” by Frank J. Matera http://www.amazon.com/Galatians-Sacra-Pagina-Quality-Paper/dp/0814659721/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpt_1

http://books.google.com/books?id=R8jX2spCfycC&pg=PA2&lpg=PA2&dq=pneumatics+galatians&source=bl&ots=PPjpVA-Aum&sig=p9u9Py7300A0-Ntl9FNEWWJdgsE&hl=en&sa=X&ei=BwgpT6H_PIrC2wXYvoDLAg&ved=0CCEQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=angel&f=false

Regarding Galatians 1:8-9; “This reference to an ‘angel from heaven’ emphasizes this point.  This text should be read in conjunction with 3:19 where Paul says that the Law was ordained by angels.”

Next the work “What is Early Jewish and Christian Mysticism?” by April D. DeConick

“In this regard, Paul's own first-hand testimony cannot be emphasized enough, because it demonstrates that the first Christian Jews believed that they were recipients of ecstatic experiences both in the form of rapture events and invasions of heaven.

Another Christian theological student in South Africa makes the following points as well in a work he did discussing the mentioning of angels throughout the different Pauline letters (i.e. the letters attributed to Paul of Tarsus in the Christian’s “New Testament”) and their rhetorical purposes in the historical setting and the historical context they were written in. This article I’m now mentioning is entitled: “Angels as arguments? The rhetorical function of references to angels in the Main Letters of Paul” by D. Francois Tolmie from Faculty of Theology, University of the Free State, South Africa and is dated to 2009. Citation: Tolmie, D.F., 2011, ‘Angels as arguments? The rhetorical function of references to angels in the Main Letters of Paul’, HTS Teologiese Studies/Theological Studies 67(1), Art. #825, 8 pages. DOI:10.4102/hts.v67i1.825

Link: http://www.hts.org.za/index.php/HTS/article/view/825/1642

Tolmie writes; Quote- “What is the rhetorical function of this reference to an angel? To my mind, three aspects are important. Firstly, the reference to an angel creates a ‘hyperbolic’ effect in the sense that it forcefully conveys to the audience8 the wide scope covered by the curse – literally anyone is included; if even angels are included, then no one will be spared.

The second reference to angels is found in Galatians 3:19, a verse that forms part of the section comprised in 3:19–25. As there is consensus amongst scholars on Paul’s rhetorical strategy in this section, at least to a large extent, I will only provide a brief overview in this regard.9 Paul seemingly uses this section to explain the function of the law. Apparently, he realises that what he has said thus far in the letter about the law might make the audience wonder why God gave the law at all, if it does not seem to have any positive function. Therefore, he now indicates that he intends to address the purpose of the law. However, he then proceeds to discuss this issue in such a way that the inferiority of the law, in comparison to the promises of God or faith, is emphasised.

The last reference to angels is found in Galatians 4:1411, part of the section comprised in 4:12–20, which is largely dominated by emotional arguments. [… You have done me no wrong. You know that it was because of a physical infirmity that I first announced the gospel to you; though my condition put you to the test, you did not scorn or despise me, but welcomed me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.]

For our purposes, two aspects should be noted: firstly, in this instance the reference to an angel (who, it must be pointed out, is specifically described as an angel ‘from God’) is used rhetorically to create a hyperbolic portrayal of the Galatians’ (former) positive attitude towards Paul. Instead of merely saying that they accepted him gladly during his visit, their behaviour is portrayed in terms of the way in which humans normally acted towards angels.13 In fact, the hyperbole is even taken one step further in the next phrase (‘like Christ Jesus’).”

end quote.

So we see this Christian theologian noting the hyperbolic affect of mentioning angels, to me it also shows how disgusting Paul the liar is that he would claim that allegedly “angels from heaven” are somehow “cursed” (it is Paul obviously who is cursed) and that the Mosaic law was also allegedly a “curse”! See Galatians 3:13 again for Paul saying that not only was the Mosaic law allegedly a “curse”, but that Prophet Jesus PBUH allegedly “became a curse for us”; so Paul is even saying that Prophet Jesus PBUH is supposedly cursed, nauzubillah (Allah forbid)!

Now before I close let me quote a few Biblical verses (i.e. from their own corrupted, contradiction filled Bibles) that also hilariously hit back at the deceitful Christian missionary nutjobs on this issue.

First from “The Book of Revelation”, note all corrupted Biblical writings are anonymous https://www.answering-christianity.com/authors_gospels.htm (look up the craziness of the Book of Revelation in the New Testament, Thomas Jefferson calling it like a crazy nightmare, the mention of dragons Revelation 12:7, and the fact that the book was supposed to have been written by “John of Patmos” on the Greek island of Patmos which is famous for its naturally growing magic mushrooms a famous psychedelic drug that causes hallucinations!)

Revelation 1:1-2 1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. (NIV)

So according to Revelation 1:1-2; the book of Revelation itself was first given to Jesus Christ PBUH by God, and then Jesus PBUH (after receiving the book of Revelation from God Almighty) then sent his angel to deliver the book to John of Patmos (the person the book of Revelation in the New Testament is attributed to: https://www.answering-christianity.com/authors_gospels.htm).  So are these same Christian missionary’s also going to claim the book of Revelation is not be followed (it is a very different book, that was almost not even included in the corrupted New Testament as it exists today and has been widely condemned as crazy, non-understandable nonsense by both scholars and historical figures like say Thomas Jefferson one of many links that could be provided http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2011/03/23/lawrence-odonnell-tells-the-truth-about-the-book-of-revelation/)!

We also read in Revelation 14:6- Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. (NIV)

The Mormons often cite Revelation 14:6, saying this allegedly foretells of their belief that an angel called Moroni came to give Joseph Smith the “Book of Mormon” in the 19th Century CE. A link to Mormons on Revelation 14:6-7 in their interpretation (note Mormonism holds most of the Pauline Christian deviant positions and also believes in the corrupted Bibles i.e. the “Old Testament” and “New Testament”) http://www.allaboutmormons.com/Questions/read_bible_galatians_angel_bringing_ENG_49.php

Refuting Mormon claims: http://www../kiosk/article367.html and http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=142&Itemid=505

So in closing let me just repeat three of the most important quotes, giving the historical context of Galatians 1:6-9 that completely refutes the hateful and nonsensical conjecture of anti-Islam individuals (i.e. certain Christian missionaries)

http://books.google.com/books?id=cnAAOuN2_JIC&pg=PA577&lpg=PA577&dq=the+life+of+Adam+and+Eve+jewish+mysticism+galatians+1+angels&source=bl&ots=7qqvjJPzCp&sig=Mj5eRzUgYItG9ba0lv7mjg7oHMg&hl=en&sa=X&ei=nnEnT-KdEuTe2AWV2ITEAg&ved=0CD0Q6AEwBTge#v=onepage&q=galatians&f=false

On Galatians 1:8-9 the IVP Bible Commentary states;

Some Jewish mystics of the period claimed revelations from angels (especially in *apocalyptic literature). Oaths and curses were familiar in ancient religion, magic, and everyday life.”

http://books.google.com/books?id=cnAAOuN2_JIC&pg=PA577&lpg=PA577&dq=the+life+of+Adam+and+Eve+jewish+mysticism+galatians+1+angels&source=bl&ots=7qqvjJPzCp&sig=Mj5eRzUgYItG9ba0lv7mjg7oHMg&hl=en&sa=X&ei=nnEnT-KdEuTe2AWV2ITEAg&ved=0CD0Q6AEwBTge#v=onepage&q=Colossians%202%3A18&f=false

Again on the IVP Bible Commentary says in it’s Christian scholarly interpretation of Colossians 2:18:

Jewish mystics and apocalypists sometimes claimed communications from angels (Gal. 1:8; in a positive vein, Acts 27:23; Rev. 1:1). … some evidence indicates that many common Diaspora Jews addressed prayers and petitions to angels, a practice that overlapped with magical spirit invocations. (Some Jewish literature, especially the Dead Sea Scrolls but also other texts, spoke of the earthly community entering into worship of the heavenly community and some scholars think Paul attacks that idea here)”

And from Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad again;

Alhamdulillah, All Praise is Due to Allah SWT!
