No he did not. He absolutely did not. Yes, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has received lots of knowledge regarding interpreting and explaining the Glorious Quran. But he didn't have full knowledge of the entire Holy Book, especially knowledge in Science and what the Glorious Quran was talking about regarding Scientific Miracles. And Allah Almighty made this clear in several Noble Verses, among them:

[017:085]  They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: "The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)"

[041:053]  Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth (i.e., the Quran). Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?

Noble Verse 41:53 is speaking about the Scientific and Numerical Miracles that Allah Almighty will reveal in the Glorious Quran that match what's in the Universe and inside ourselves. In other words, this is for mankind that lives in the advanced ages in science. Read more at:

Alteration of Creation Prophecy in Quran:
