Yusuf Ali: [067:014] Should He not know,- He that created? and He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them).[067:015] It is He Who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse ye through its tracts and enjoy of the Sustenance which He furnishes: but unto Him is the Resurrection. [067:016] Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? [067:017] Or do ye feel secure that He Who is in Heaven will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones), so that ye shall know how (terrible) was My warning? [067:018] But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)?
Dr. Munir Munshey (one of www.answering-christianity.com's authors): [067:014] Why would He not know? He is the Creator! He is the all-Knowing, well Aware of every subtle detail.[067:015] He it is, Who subdued the earth for you (and made it a comfortable and controllable habitat). So move along its surface and eat the food provided by Him. But (remember), towards Him is your (revival and) resurrection. [067:016] Are you unafraid that He, the One in heavens (Allah), will not let the earth swallow you? That it will not suddenly begin to rock (as in an earthquake)? [067:017] Are you unafraid that He _the One in heaven, (Allah) _will not unleash a violent hurricane upon you? Then you would learn in a hurry how (true and terrible) was My warning! [067:018] Of course, (most of) their predecessors had (also) refused to believe. So (observe), how (devastating) was My wrath (and punishment).
Transliteration: [067:014] Ala yaAAlamu man khalaqa wahuwa allateefu alkhabeeru[067:015] Huwa allathee jaAAala lakumu al-arda thaloolan faimshoo fee manakibiha wakuloo min rizqihi wa-ilayhi alnnushooru [067:016] Aamintum man fee alssama-i an yakhsifa bikumu al-arda fa-itha hiya tamooru [067:017] Am amintum man fee alssama-i an yursila AAalaykum hasiban fasataAAlamoona kayfa natheeri [067:018] Walaqad kaththaba allatheena min qablihim fakayfa kana nakeeri

Quran Moral Code (100s of them)]): 67:14 الا يعلم من خلق وهو اللطيف الخبير67:15 هو الذي جعل لكم الارض ذلولا فامشوا في مناكبها وكلوا من رزقه واليه النشور 67:16 ءامنتم من في السماء ان يخسف بكم الارض فاذا هي تمور 67:17 ام امنتم من في السماء ان يرسل عليكم حاصبا فستعلمون كيف نذير 67:18 ولقد كذب الذين من قبلهم فكيف كان نكير
Sher Ali: [067:014] Does HE, Who has created you, not know it ? HE is the Knower of all subtleties, the All-Aware.[067:015] HE it is Who has made the earth even and smooth for you; so walk in the spacious paths thereof, and eat of HIS provision. And unto HIM will be the resurrection. [067:016] Do you feel secure from HIM Who is in the heaven that HE will not cause the earth to sink with you ? When lo ! it begins to shake. [067:017] Do you feel secure from HIM Who is in the heaven that HE will not send against you a heavy sand-storm ? Then will you know how terrible was MY Warning ! [067:018] And, indeed, those before them also rejected MY Messengers, then how grievous was MY punishment !
Shakir: [067:014] Does He not know, Who created? And He is the Knower of the subtleties, the Aware.[067:015] He it is Who made the earth smooth for you, therefore go about in the spacious sides thereof, and eat of His sustenance, and to Him is the return after death. [067:016] Are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not make the earth to swallow you up? Then lo! it shall be in a state of commotion. [067:017] Or are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not send down upon you a punishment? Then shall you know how was My warning. [067:018] And certainly those before them rejected (the truth), then how was My disapproval.
Pickthall: [067:014] Should He not know what He created ? And He is the Subtile, the Aware.[067:015] He it is Who hath made the earth subservient unto you, so Walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of the dead). [067:016] Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed ? [067:017] Or have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not let loose on you a hurricane ? But ye shall know the manner of My warning. [067:018] And verily those before them denied, then (see) the manner of My wrath (with them)!
Sale: [067:014] Shall not He know all things who hath created them; since He is the sagacious, the knowing?[067:015] It is He who hath levelled the earth for you: Therefore walk through the regions thereof, and eat of his provision; unto Him shall be the resurrection. [067:016] Are ye secure that He who dwelleth in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up? And behold, it shall shake. [067:017] Or are ye secure that He who dwelleth in heaven will not send against you an impetuous whirlwind, driving the sands to overwhelm you? Then shall ye know how important my warning was. [067:018] Those also who were before you disbelieved; and how grievous was my displeasure!
Muhammad Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan: [067:014] Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves) All-Aware (of everything).[067:015] He it is, Who has made the earth subservient to you (i.e. easy for you to walk, to live and to do agriculture on it, etc.), so walk in the path thereof and eat of His provision, and to Him will be the Resurrection. [067:016] Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not cause the earth to sink with you, then behold it shakes (as in an earthquake)? [067:017] Or do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not send against you a violent whirlwind? Then you shall know how (terrible) has been My Warning? [067:018] And indeed those before them belied (the Messengers of Allah), then how terrible was My denial (punishment)?
Palmer: [067:014] Ay! He knows who created! for He is the subtle, the well-aware![067:015] He it is who made the earth flat for you; so walk in the spacious sides thereof and eat of His provision; for unto Him the resurrection is! [067:016] Are ye sure that He who is in the heaven will not cleave the earth with you, and that it then shall quake? [067:017] Or are ye sure that He who is in the heaven will not send against you a heavy sand storm, and that ye then shall know how the warning was? [067:018] But those before them did call the apostles liars, and what a change it was!
Arberry: [067:014] Shall He not know, who created? And He is the All-subtle, the All-aware.[067:015] It is He who made the earth submissive to you; therefore walk in its tracts, and eat of His provision; to Him is the Uprising. [067:016] Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you, the while it rocks? [067:017] Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles, then you shall know how My warning is? [067:018] Those that were before them also cried lies; then how was My horror!
Khalifa: (why is he here?) [067:014] Should He not know what He created? He is the Sublime, Most Cognizant.[067:015] He is the One who put the Earth at your service. Roam its corners, and eat from His provisions. To Him is the final summoning. [067:016] Have you guaranteed that the One in heaven will not strike the earth and cause it to tumble? [067:017] Have you guaranteed that the One in heaven will not send upon you a violent storm? Will you then appreciate the value of My warning? [067:018] Others before them have disbelieved; how terrible was My requital!
Rodwell: [067:014] What! shall He not know who hath created? for He is the Subtil, the Cognizant.[067:015] It is He who hath made the earth level for you: traverse then its broad sides, and eat of what He hath provided. - Unto Him shall be the resurrection. [067:016] What! are ye sure that He who is in Heaven will not cleave the Earth beneath you? And lo, it shall quake. [067:017] Or are ye sure that He who is in Heaven will not send against you a stone-charged whirlwind? Then shall ye know what my warning meant! [067:018] And verily, those who flourish before you treated their prophets as liars: and how grievous my wrath!
