Assalam alikum I was just wondering does verse 23:31(then we produced after them noah another people after them) mean that the people of ad were the only people on earth who commit shirk after noah but before thamud that there is no chance of another nation that is committing shirk and a measseger is sent to them before ad or at the same time does this verse mean that or is it possible that there are nations that are committing shirk and meassegers sent to them before ad but after noah or at the same time of ad or not does that verse mean that or not  jazzakkallah

The flood of Noah was a geographically a limited event, and not one that covered the entire globe.  And the people that you mentioned were also limited to the context of the flood's story, not to all nations and all lands on earth of the time.  Here are some links that should help, insha'Allah:

Just like the Hebrews when they became Jews and received the Message.  There were at their time plenty of pagans and idol worshipers.  Messengers get sent to LIMITED people.  There were pagans during their times, and before their times, and after their times.
