Comment On The Shabir Ally-Sam Shamoun Debate

It is divided into 3 parts and the topic was, ‘The Quran or the Bible- Which is the word of God?’

 

It was an interesting debate. Both debaters did a good job. However, I am not intending to write a review of the debate. I just wanted to comment on something that I noticed happened with the recording with the recording of the debate. I just wanted to write this article in order to let people know that when you listen to the debate, you will not be listening to the whole thing because parts are cut out. To be more specific, the parts when Shabir Ally talks are cut out. Why? Maybe Shabir Ally said something that refuted Sam Shamoun’s argument pretty badly so the tamperer did not want the listeners to hear it? Maybe and maybe not. Who knows. Let me just get to the point and say which parts were cut out.

 

 

 

The debate starts with Sam Shamoun’s opening presentation. Shamoun talks first and then Shabir talks. So what does that mean? That means that Shabir Ally is supposed to be talking last and be the concluding speaker. You even get hints of this when you listen to the debate.

 

In part 2 of the debate, on the 13^th minute, 36^th second, Sam Shamoun says this…

 

With more time in the rebuttals, not 10 minutes, 5 minutes, so that you can throw out your points and end up last and giving the impression that you won the debate

 

Even Shabir Ally in the 19^th minute 20^th second promised that he would come back and conclude…

So what happens next? Sam Shamoun comes up and gives his concluding speech and then IT SKIPS RIGHT INTO THE QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION. WHERE IS SHABIR ALLY’S CONCLUDING REMARKS?

 

 

Moreover, the question and answer session is designed in a way where one is questioned and gives his answer and then the opponent has a chance to respond back. So for example, if someone asks Shabir Ally a question, he will answer it and then Sam Shamoun will have a chance to counter rebut Shabir’s answer and vice versa. However, interestingly when you listen to the question and answer segment you will notice tampering there as well.

 

I urge everyone to go to Part 2 of the debate and then forward to the 40^th minute, 35^th second where Sam Shamoun is asked the following question…

 

If Jesus is God then who ran or operated the world when he was dead in the 3 days?

 

Sam Shamoun responds to the questioner’s question. Now after Sam Shamoun responds back, what is supposed to happen? Answer: Shabir Ally should be given a chance to respond back. However, when you listen to the tape you can clearly see that Shabir Ally’s part is cut out. Then it takes you to the next question. Why is Shabir Ally’s part cut out?

 

 

 

 

Go to part 3 of the debate, 2^nd minute, 18^th second Sam Shamoun is asked the following question…

 

 

If you believe that God is fair how could He accept the injustice in the death of his Son for the sins that he has not committed.

 

Sam Shamoun responds to the questioner’s question. Now after Sam Shamoun responds back, what is supposed to happen? Answer: Shabir Ally should be given a chance to respond back. However, when you listen to the tape you can clearly see that Shabir Ally’s part is cut out. Then it takes you to the next question. Why is Shabir Ally’s part cut out?

 

 

 

So clearly, there is something wrong with the recording. Either its been tampered with on purpose or by mistake. I don’t know and don’t care. But I urge those who do have the real true copy to let it out and let people hear the debate in full so that we can truly judge who won it.
